"We've been going to the Riviera for a long time, rarely in the last year because my husband had an operation. It seems that someone else is the Gerant, all previous employees are no longer there. Seat reservation Sat in the back room, there were only two tables occupied by us. The table on the left of us was served much faster. . .There were three of us, a friend from Vienna wanted the menu, we didn't. The waiter explained to us from the kitchen that this would only work if he gave each individual dish a special label. That was so much that he had to send half back, of course the menu price was SFr. 30. more expensive. Had to confront the waiter about it, saying it was absolute nonsense and annoying the customers! ! ! Just cheeky, we're not coming anymore. . . ."

On Tuesday evening the restaurant was sparsely attended. Service was very friendly we got a nice corner table in the inviting main room. We ordered the egg “carbonara” and then the tuna. Both courses were presented very imaginatively, served with perfectly coordinated unexpected ingredients. The hot plates enhanced the flavors and extended the special enjoyment. The employee recommended a suitable open Sicilian wine a good choice in an unobtrusive and attentive way. We'll be happy to come back, thank you for the lovely evening!

Excellent chic restaurant with Italian cuisine where the customer is served excellently for decidedly acceptable costs in terms of quality-price ratio. The menu was rather limited, however leading to a refinement of the dishes offered. We tried the scallops as a starter: excellent. As a main dish I chose the busiate with cuttlefish ink and octopus sauce which had a nice seafood flavour. For dessert we had the cannoli, truly delicious, which was accompanied by an almond sorbet. We had reservation for four people but unfortunately a friend could not make it and this upset the staff who told us that we should have called and informed them. This is already a turn off. How could we predict such situation? While waiting for the staff to take our order, a friend pull out his “Essen gehn!” booklet and again we were being lectured that we should have mentioned the book when we reserved the table and because we didn’t mention it, they refused to take the book.
