Absolutely fab pub , nice friendly staff (Elisha was brilliant) and a good price. Could not ask for more, will be back next year for sure!

Nice pub and location but spoiled by surly and uninterested service by lady behind the bar who also made up drinks with ice and lemon without asking. Will not rush to return. Much prefer the Victoria Inn on Hill Rise

I went into the Roebuck whilst I was staying in the Hotel next door.. It is quite a historic pub as it has been open for centuries. There is a lovely atmosphere as soon as you walk in. I had the steak and ale pie which was absolutely delicious. I found that the staff were all so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back there again when I am next back in the area.

The restaurant offers very efficient and friendly service in a pub with a charming atmosphere, consisting of several smaller rooms/areas rather than one large open plan space. The decor features lots of wood and interesting historical photos on the walls. There is a breathtaking view overlooking the Thames. The main courses are generous in size and reasonably priced. Overall, the restaurant presents itself as a highly professional and well-managed establishment.

We booked into hotel up the road ,googled to see what was around found the pub. As it's a Friday nite didn't expect to be able to find a table. Made a call spoke with Alisha she told us to come ash for her. Managed to fit us in on a very busy night queue in out of the door for take away drinks to sit opposite looking over the river. The best pub in London is The Roebuck. As locals in Kew, we can confidently say that it is the top pub in the Richmond/Kew area. The iconic views from the pub are just the beginning - the service and atmosphere are exceptional. Gabriella, the bartender, stands out as the most attentive and kind person we have ever met. She makes us feel welcomed and at home every time we visit. If you're looking for delicious food, outstanding hospitality, and a fantastic location, The Roebuck is the place to go. - Pardeep Simi

Upon arriving in Richmond and noticing how busy all the restaurants were, we decided to explore further up the hill. Despite the bustling atmosphere, we were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. We chose the chicken roast, which was reasonably priced compared to other options in Surrey. The meal was delicious, with French-trimmed chicken served steaming hot alongside a large Yorkshire pudding and perfectly cooked vegetables. We even asked for extra gravy because it was so tasty. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience and plan to return soon. The restaurant had a warm and cozy ambiance and ran like a well-oiled machine. Well done to the staff!
