"We haven't been to Chiang Mai for almost a decade now. Our first visit in 2015 was a very fond memory. That's why we reserved a table for our 15th wedding anniversary. After initially changing tables immediately because our table was full of ants due to freshly cut flowers standing there in a vase, we were given another table for 2 people in an adjoining room with a family with very loud children. We had actually planned the menu for 2 people for this special day, but with the tiny table, that would never have worked. So we ordered normally ala carte. We added “authentic Thai” when ordering. The food was a poem and as excellent as we remembered. We would be happy to come back at any time, even if we would like to spend a special evening in a quieter environment if possible."

"Nachdem Fusco Cono, der frühere Inhaber des Lokales Salerno, den Salzstadel übernommen hat ist der Salzstadel sicherlich wieder unangefochten die BESTE Möglichkeit typisch italienisch zu essen. Die Qualität, Auswahl und der Geschmack der Speisen ist gigantisch, der Service exzellent und auch in Zeiten wo nur die Abholung möglich ist sollte dieses Lokal unterstützt werden dass wir alle zukünftig wieder dort auch einen schönen Abend verbringen können. Also nicht von schlechten Bewertungen des früheren Inhabers abschrecken lassen sondern aktiv dieses SUPERlokal auch jetzt und zukünftig unterstützen!!!"

"the castell is certainly nothing for a cozy tête à tête in a warm atmosphere. looking for a cocktail evening with Mexican flair with his cumples is here. we were too loud for an evening meal. the service was not unfriendly, but reserved and reserved. for the long waiting times she was not responsible, but a word of regret did not come over her lips. I took that as an appetizer the crispy kartoffels. homemade potato corners with a delicious bath were not a culinary highlight, but recommended. after that I took a Mexican classic, a chili in a full-fledged kartoffel (papa carne picante). preparation was good, but for me personally the chili had too acidic note. my wife took a chicken stable (red chilaquiles). this corresponded to expectations, although the amount of money was a bit economical. the menu was very extensive overall, unusual for a mexican was the great pizza selection. there was only a Mexican steak. the environment of a Mexican restaurant that I have imagined differently; we were particularly disturbed by the running television and the extreme noise. the castell is definitiw not suitable for a cozy evening meal. the concept is aimed at a younger public looking for a bistro atmosphere. the huge cocktail card underlines this claim. Unfortunately, the wine selection was not almost acceptable (2 white and 2 red weine) cleanliness serious problems did not occur here."

"Fachlich sehr gute Komponenten Auswahl. Auch die „Deko“ am Essen sehr sorgfältig ausgewählt. Besonders die Sauce beim Burgunder Braten ist auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Auch am Fettrand beim Braten konnte man die schonende Verarbeitung und die hohe Qualität des Fleisches und der Verarbeitung erleben. Ebenso beim BbQ Burger… bestens herausgearbeitete Komponenten im Zusammenspiel im Ganzen. Für uns ein Geschmackserlebnis der besonderen Art. Auch beim Service merkt man an den Kleinigkeiten wie man bedient wird, dass dies gelernt wurde. Rundum… sehr gerne 5 Sterne. Uns sehr gerne kommen wir spontan wieder, obwohl es eine Frage der Zeit sein wird, dass dies spontan nicht mehr möglich sein wird. Dies gönne ich den Wirtsleuten von Herzen. Es war ein perfektes Erlebnis für die Sinne"

"At noon 13.00 we were at Santa Maria lunch (2adults, as usual). There were two more people in the local area.Our orders were received almost at the same time by a young man (I had never seen him in the local as a service before, the drinks also came quite fast. The side table ordered pizza and schnitzel, we had ordered two pizzas. After being served at the neighboring table, we were pretty confident that we could eat soon. After at least 40 minutes after we had ordered, I asked the young man if we were forgotten. His answer is not evidenced by any professional attitude to his activity. I can bake the pizza myself... It is not much!!!, but the delivery service is active. Actually, a reason to leave the place, I wanted to eat (pizza in the lunch break....no menu and no trouble. That the pizzas were then served post-sending does nothing more to the thing. These tasted much better. I guess it was. Two guests less!"
