"I can 't believe how little customer service this takeaway has! We ordered 4 meals for delivery but got wrong food. Fair enough mistakes happen but then to resend it back out with missing items!!! Really? So quickly eat what we do have, get the kids to bed and write an email to them. Their email address on their own website is wrong?!? So I called up, explained what had happened, 'uhhh what, can you repeat that? ' no can I speak to a manager? Only to find out that he is too busy to talk to a customer? So he then has a conversation through one of the rudest call handlers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I eventually got offered a partial refund as a good will gesture and when I say that 's not good enough. To my amazement the only reply was 'Its that or nothing ' Then to be told because I had used just eat that I had to spend another 15 minutes on the phone to them to get my measly partial refund! Absolutely shocking. We had just restarted using Roosters again, safe to say we won 't be any time soon."

Very tasty chicken, good value, and friendly staff. Frequently visit here on our lunch breaks, and you can also get a discount if you work locally.

I popped in to get a quick dinner and ate in but was also taking food back to mates takeaway. The staff were super helpful in timing my takeaway food and making sure it wasn’t ready too early and also were friendly and helpful in general.

Four lads on a day out, hungry as hell. We ended up in Roosters Grill Shack, expecting a bog standard high street eatery. I ordered a double up beef and chicken burger, while my mates had a half chicken, tandoori chicken burger and a steak respectively. They were all impressed with their food. My burger was lovely. Bought the piri piri chicken in pita bread with chips and got a free milkshake. The chips were amazing and one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had which was great considering it was free for Valentine’s Day. Was very happy with everything and will be going here more often as this was my first time trying the food.

Lovely food ..visited Saturday 9th Feb..ordered large veg and haloumi wrap meal and chicken satay, Tender juicy chicken was lovely,I'm a big meat eater but this place does the best veggie wrap I've ever had !! Nice chunks of haloumi and grilled veg : manager always friendly ..very skinny fries so get a nice crunch with spicy piri seasoning .. 10 /10 ! Keep up the good work:

Food was nice but expensive. Wouldn't have minded as much if we'd eaten together. Initially got the wrong food, partners food came shortly after but then waited a further 20 mins for mine. Also we were left the chips from the incorrect order, when my food arrived there were no chips as I'd already had my portion 20 mins earlier!! So I’ve been going to Roosters for about 4 years now and I can say it’s getting progressively worse. It’s to the point now where I wouldn’t even go again in all honesty. When I first started going it was probably my favourite place to eat but I think they’ve changed their recipes and suppliers because last time I went it was horrible. The chicken was mushy almost, lack of seasoning it’s cooked with. I was guessing that I just had some bad pieces of chicken but my friend confirmed his was also pretty disgusting to the point that he only ate about half of his meal. Fix up Roosters I’m not coming again either way. You’ve destroyed yourselves !

The food is okay I just find the whole roosters experience a bad one, after a bad experience a year ago, (biting into a chicken wrap (im a vegetarian we didn’t order for a year, we finally started going back but it’s just bad all round, I noticed on the delivery note this evening we had been charged £2.50 for delivery, when we have never been charged before. I even went to order on the just eat website prior to ordering over the phone, and on the website it said delivery was free. This will be my last review as I won’t be ordering again, staff are rude and don’t care about customers; there are plenty of nicer places with a good customer experience I would rather buy from.
