A really great pub, a warm welcome as soon as you step in, great beer choice, I had the sausage and mash which was very tasty. I would go again.

Attended a friend's bottomless brunch for a hen party, service and food were great. Venue lovely, clean and well looked after. Dogs are allowed in the pub but there is a section for those who prefer no dogs so is an all round winner.

Very odd to be fair. We had been here before, but today was completely different. The pub was very cold. No music, no atmosphere. Bar staff, zero personality. The only thing that cheered this up, was the Halloween decorations. Drinks very expensive. Great shame.

Spontaneous decision to go out for a post Christmas meal and so glad we chose The Rose and Crown. The steak was cooked exactly as I’d asked, chips we scrumptious and blue cheese sauce homemade. We hosted a private event in the dining room at this restaurant and everything was done perfectly, from the planning to the service and the food. It was outstanding! I highly recommend this place for smaller events, lunch, dinner, or just drinks and snacks. They have everything you need!

I recently attended a bachelorette party at this pub over the weekend and had a wonderful experience. We were seated in a separate room from the main bar, which allowed us to have a private function while still having easy access to the bar and outdoor areas. The staff were friendly and attentive, always available to help us with anything we needed. The pub had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and it was clear that there were many regular patrons there, which made me feel comfortable and at home. I would highly recommend the Rose and Crown and will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a lovely visit!

Unfortunately our first visit to the rose and crown since Sam and Sian took over, it won’t be the last though. We booked as a last minute thing on a Friday evening. The pub was bustling and lively with plenty of regulars in the bar area. We went through to the restaurant to eat (me, wife and 11 year old son) Wife and son had the sirloin steak and I had the buttermilk chicken burger. The food took a reassuring time to come out (not so quick like some chain pubs where you know it’s basically been microwaved) the food when it arrived was delicious. The staff were pleasant, attentive and not overbearing like some can be. We will be back, in fact we have booked for Sunday lunch so won’t be long. Visualizza piatti
