"Tried the Oak as recommended by a friend. Sunday lunch menu, limited but enough to please most people. Food was presented well and was of a good standard. Plenty of vegetables to go with the main course. Was a little quiet and etmisphere a little lacking, but hopefully the trade will pick up and a buzz will be in the air.. overall I would say it was a good experience"

Fantastic food and service from our local pub. We also discovered they had a beer garden up the steps to the rear, nice sunny spot. Highly recommended

I very rarely order roast in a pub as it is usually disappointing but this was delicious. Great roast beef, crisp potatoes and plenty of gravy. I would definitely recommend this pub for food

Yet another fantastic Sunday lunch at the Royal Oak. Food was amazing, the beef was cooked to perfection. Really great size portions and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Won't be long before we make another booking
