"Cracking curry house switched from Cinnamons about 2 years ago as was not happy with their consitancy. Balti hut has been great week in week out. Have had many a takeaway and few dine ins. "This restaurant is a lovely venue for lunch, dinner, weddings, and birthday celebrations. They offer an excellent buffet, making it a great choice for hosting parties or special events. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. There are plenty of parking spaces available, and the surrounding area has open spaces that are perfect for young people in the city."

"Feeling esurient, I hastened to Ritmos Tapas Bar to enjoy some Mediterranean fare. I was somewhat surprised to be the only diner there but, being hungry, I grasped firmly the extensive menu and ordered the “Salmon a la parilla” (Salmon with seasonal vegetables). Imagine my surprise when 50 minutes later (still no other customers present), a plate with two filets of white fish appeared in front of me. Intrigued, I ingested the fare to sample what kind of fish this could be; for it certainly was not Salmon. Now being a keen angler, I noted that the skin and the attached dorsal fin were very reminiscent of Grey Mullet a fish common to our shores in copious abundance and traded by nefarious anglers to low grade restaurants. When asked why my Salmon was indeed, not Salmon the Manager simply said “It’s a like a da Salmon”. Sadly I shall not be returning to this place of delectation. I’m not actually sure it is a restaurant but maybe a front for another business. They’re certainly not in the “Fish Recognition” business."

"We visited this pub as part of our day out on the Wye. I was greeted by a really friendly young man behind the bar however that was where the good hospitality ended! We sat outside and would have loved to have ordered some food but we only had a short amount of time there. We ordered our drinks and sat outside. The landlady was extremely rude and hostile, she shouted …. yes literally shouted at us for taking a bite out of our packed sandwich. In hindsight perhaps we should have waited but we had just spent £10 on 2 drinks! She could have come over and kindly spoke to us but instead shouting at us in front of all the other customers Manners cost nothing! We watched her take a stick delivery and it is clear that she has little customer service and her very hostile attitude is “ My pub is busy and I don’t need to try and be warm and welcoming!” Shame as we won’t visit again."

"I am a local, and i come here regularly, and i have not smelled anything other than great grub. This is an awesome pub and everyone you meet at it is friendly and if you visit and you don 't live a million miles away you will be back, again and again. I regularly go for weekend breaks with my better half to very expensive establishments around London and the Cotswolds and it 's very rare that we find a pub that is as welcoming and enjoyable as my local, this makes me feel very lucky to live where i do. I 'm yet to meet anyone actually at The Lion that is genuinely dis-satisfied with any aspect of it at all and i can guarantee that it does not at all feel like 'a chain pub ' now it has a nice new extension. I will continue to come here and be delighted with the atmosphere, the food and the staff that have always served in a freindly efficient manner. The Lion has had many accolades over the years which it rightly deserves and i can 't see why it won 't have many more in the future. I 've attached a photo of the new restaurant so you can compare it your local Harvester for yourself."
