"three families met for a day in the dower house. we had taken rolls and snacks. kinder moaning, how hungry they were such a trip to stir that close to the camping site. men came back with packages of chippies. one of us. has the fish and chickens. Oh, my God! £19 pfund later (many sooo many) blass luke warm leather chips. almost laughing to be honest. fish that you could bend, nuggets similar to the leder chips. many tomato sauce and vinegar could not dress up the squirty little excuses. we are not fussy believe me, have made many bad experiences in the past, that was definitely one of our worst. our money fed the bags so that at least someone was happy. never again. have read some good reviews, but seem to be a past back. hope rumbles reads this as they were shaken, and we are amazed that they would serve such a terrible example of their food. improvements are certainly necessary."

rubbish comes to the understood, cold and dry chips, fish is terrible if they can find it in the teig, really disappointing experience.

Just had place (big) sausage in better and large chips, enough chips for the two of us, easily. Place was sublime, sausages were moist and excellent batter, are every last chip. Proper grub, very good value for money. Excellent.

Ordered a chicken fillet burger and was given a processed large chicken nugget. The chips were dry and more wilted than a bloke looking for a good time in a church (better of curb crawling)! **** poor and the hound turned his nose up! Personally...go somewhere else and give this a miss!

Ordered fish chips ,spicy chips and chicken strips , only used this one as my regular was not delivering this early , i wish i'd waited , absolutely awful bit of fried fish that looked like it had sat on a thermal sock for...over 24 hours , couldn't eat it it was that bad and i'm not a fussy eater. Rumbles in Newmarket Methwold are both outstanding , Thetford's one is terrible !

on Monday at 11:30 e did or made a payment, they sent back. I was back at paypal. after 1 hour no notice was given, I was on them website and say open Monday to see Sunday, I call and go to voicemail. I decide to go into the load and stir my surprise. on Thursday I went to the shop and the man says we are close every Monday. I was very disappointed and for changes he tell information on the website and on the Wes door

My brother and I embarked on a day in Thetford, and this is where we stopped for lunch. A great choice, and one I'd personally be happy to go back to in a heartbeat. Lovely food, very quickly served; I just had a large portion...of chips and a coke, my brother had a lovely piece of cod with chips and mushy peas, and a coke. Absolutely well worth the visit, sitting outside in the sun. This will be my go-to when I visit, no question!
