"Identitycrisis is the first time that come in mind. It's not really a sushi restaurant, because they have dishes from different South East Asin countries. My guess is that the people are Vietnamese, not Japanese or Chinese.The decor varies from kitsch to Asian. Purple velvet curtains and animal lamps to terracotta-style statues to golden bling to black&white photos of Hollywoodstars. Very strange decor.The menu is large and because the waiter and waitress both seem to have trouble with English, we wrote down the dishes (nrs) we wanted on a note by ourselves and gave it to the waiter. And still he managed to leave out 2 dishes.The plate of various sushi we ordered was okay, nothing special. The grilled tuna salad was missing the advocado.The yakitori was a bit too salty.The crispy duck was delicious with enough vegetables.The seafood rice bowl was good.All together we did have a pleasant and fairly tasty dinner for a (in my opinion) fair price."

Amazing service with just as amazing and affordable food. Beautiful cozy environment with decent music that compliments the atmosphere. Waiters are super nice and the food tastes fresh, I could seriously sit here and eat it all day.

We were there on Thursday at 12 noon and were served immediately. After ordering our duck dishes it took 10 minutes until they were served and they were very delicious. And 10,00 Euro per dish is completely fine. The service was also very friendly.

Sapa, located near checkpoint Charlie, is massive really underrated. Do not let the bland pictures published on trip advisor fool you, this is a classy, well decorated, beautiful and market restaurant.The Tuna Tartar is to die for, while their sushi game is 100% on point.Highly recommended. We were recommended to this restaurant by friends-we were not disappointed -we found the food [especially the sashimi] fresh + beautifully prepared -the wine list was also good The service was average on the night that we ate at Sapa as our waiter was obviously in training but it did not detract from the otherwise excellent food

Nice, but unfortunately very busy staff. For example, you must wait for the invoice and the possibility to order. The food comes all faster, even with several courses everything is well gummed. We were very satisfied with the dishes both in quality and with the size of the portion. The food is authentic, fresh and simply delicious.
