Schattberg stube - Menu

Located directly on the bottom of the Schattberg, it is very convenient for an apr ski or walk drink. Great menu, good food .

Good restorer with good view! The menu is large for all - from pizza to original Austrian cuisine. The service was also very friendly and helpful. I'd take back the baked potato flour first picture.

Preis-Leistung top!! Hatte Rumpsteak mit Maiskolben und Ofenkartoffel. Einfach alles war perfekt! Das Fleisch mit der Kräuterbutter, die Kartoffel mit dem Kräuerquark und der Mais. Auch der Grillteller von meinem Freund war hervorragend. Liebevoll zubereitet und lange warten musste man auch nicht. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Gerne wieder!

We ate here 4 times in our week in Saalbach. The pizzas were some of the best we have ever had, even in Italy! Service was always very friendly and super efficient even though the restaurant was always really busy. Food was delicious and came very quickly. Great selection of wine and very reasonable prices. Want to say a huge thankyou to all the staff for helping making our trip to Saalbach a great one.

We visited this establishment at the beginning of March on 2 occasions for drinks.At first seemed ok with reasonable welcome by the owner.It was only after we left that we noticed we had been overcharged quite considerably for the drinks received.The following day we returned and pointed this out to the owner who apologised and stated it was a complete error on her part and that she would rectify the situation.As a result we stayed for our apres ski.When we requested the bill ,no reimbursement had been made .We were totally amazed.When we queried this she stated that she had refunded us when we arrived at the bar.Complete and utter lies.This person had cheated us on 2 occasions.. Visited this establishment yesterday and were overcharged by a round of drinks. I was horrified by the bill but didn't realise what the problem was until I returned to the hotel and put on my glasses. We returned today and explained the mistake on the bill. The bartender immediately admitted the error so we decided to stay and have the drinks owed as offered by her then had another round. To our dismay, the bill did not reflect the round that was in hand as agreed with her. She would not budge when we reminded her of the agreement when we entered her establishment today and she insisted that she had fully reimbursed us of the full amount over-charged yesterday at the table when we arrived ev...

Stopped in here to check on the kids who were brought here by their ski instructor for lunch. Once we had checked on them (they were having the time of their lives) we decided to have some lunch of our own. Sat out side in the back decked area (there is a front and a back) in glorious sunshine looking at the ski run down from the top of the Schattberg Express in front of us and the kids in ski school to the left of us. Service was great, food was great, drinks were great. My wife had the Beef Carpaccio with pesto, rocket salad and parmesan and ciabatta starter and i had the Chilli Garlic Prawns in Olive Oil with Ciabatta starter, both were amazing! I've been on quite a few skiing vacations, but this place is not one i would recommend. We went to the hotel in end feb-22 and had one of the worst experiences at a hotel I've tried. We came at 7 a.m. in the morning through a Sunweb ski bus and the hotel doors were closed. A guy shoveling snow outside let us in and was very hostile. Once inside we were told to put our suitcases in storage until we could have the room at 2 p.m. We were very reluctantly allowed to put our ski's in the ski room before we got the room. We got a coffee at a different location and some breakfast and got back to Schattbergstube to have another coffee and were told in the 1/5 full room that it was only for breakfast...

Stayed in the hotel here after booking a holiday through SunWeb. Location Excellent! Right in the centre of the town. All 3 lifts are close, so can easily access all the different ski areas. I would say the best located hotel in Saalbach. Wifi Doesn 't work. Rooms Basic but unbelievably clean, not a spot of dust! Beds and towels changed daily. Good amount of coathangers in the wardrobe. No kettle. Bathroom Small but useable, hot water for about 10 minutes then flicks between hot and cold. Balcony Shared. Views Cracking! Can see the piste from room 11. Breakfast Pretty poor.
