Neben unerfahrenen Aushilfen gibt es jetzt auch ein paar Profikellner.Das macht sich positiv bemerkbar. Auch das Essensangebot ist deutlich besser geworden.Weinempfehlung: Bardolino Rosé!(6,50 0,2 l).

Schönes Restaurant mit Biergarten und schönen Ausblick. Die Küche war wegen Pause die nächsten 30 Minuten zu. Ungewöhnlich! Das Personal war freundlich, aber nicht wirklich aufmerksam. Wir hätten gerne noch etwas getrunken, aber es kam niemand. Schade.

Ich kann leider nix Gutes sagen, außer der wirklichen guten Aussicht, die man vom Biergarten aus hat. Wir wurden einfach nur unfreundlich und unserer Meinung nach sehr unprofessionell behandelt, da wir uns wohl an einen falschen Tisch gesetzt haben. Yes, they block off certain areas at various times and might force you into the sun. If you sit in the no-go zones, they'll either tell you to leave or completely ignore you. If they decide, at their whim, that there's no room in the cheaper section, they'll direct you to the more expensive restaurant (which has some shady outdoor seating). And orders will be forgotten and the bill will take ages. Still, the views over the Rhine are great and I had good pork in a great wine sauce with very tasty mash and the ubiquitous asparagus.

Zu einem kleinen Abendessen begaben wir uns in den Schaumburger Hof. Wünderschönes Ambiente mit einer Außenterrasse direkt am Rhein gelegen und schönen Blick auf das Siebengebirge. Die Außenterrasse beherbergt einen schönen Biergarten mir altem Baumbestand. Leider konnte einen die freundliche und bemühte Bedienung nicht über das übersichtlich servierte und lieblos gekochte Essen (Schnitzel vom Eifelschwein und Salat Schaumburger Hof) hinweg sehen lassen, das für den Preis auch noch überteuert erschien. Also auf ein schönes Bier auf die Terrasse und auf Besserung hoffen!

The food has fast-food quality, but you pay for the location, which is right in front of the river. I had an oily Schnitzel with Bratkartoffeln. The meat was raw. When I told this to the waitress she quickly looked at the plate and took it to the kitchen. This beautiful terrace on the Rhine bank would always be an ideal meeting place, even with friends, if the offer was not so bad there. Bei zu gegebener Maßen supoptimalen Wetterverhältnissen trafen wir hungrig und durstig im Schaumburger Hof ein.Anstelle eines freundlichen hallo wurde uns von dem Kellner lediglich mitgeteilt, dass es für uns auf den feuchten Sitzplätzen nichts mehr zu trinken gebe.Als wir uns dann im Inneren des Gasthauses zum Essen platzieren wollten, wurden wir von dem selben Kellner darauf hingewiesen, dass wir uns dort nicht hinsetzen könnten, weil dieser Bereich nur für Gäste, die etwas essen wollen, vorgesehen sei.
