"first, the location and other details on the website tripadvisor are incorrect. the address is bergedorfer str. 112, 21029 hamburg and the telephone number is 49 40 79685768. my assessment is as follows. my wife and I were in the mountain village ramada hotel. When we arrived from the narrowlands this evening, we discovered that the hotel restaurant was left, probably due to its high prices. the schweinske was the nearest restaurant, not more than 100 meters from the hotel. schweinske serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and customers can choose between indoor or al fresco restaurants on a floating ponton that seemed very popular. we have penetrated the menus outside the door and offered a waitress, the excellent English language, printed menus in English. we prefer the indoor bar area and have not eaten for a dae, we chose tomato cream soup (hot and tasty), followed by pork loin with criminal butter, baked kartoffel and sour cream washed with big beers. this meal was nicely cooked and exactly what we needed after a long and tiresome journey. schweinske is a franchise operation. it does not offer cordon bleu dining and specialize in what it is best burger, pasta dishes, grill meat (mainly pork, but also truthahn, bark and chicken breast) and salate. franchises are just as good as local management and this branch was very good. my wife must keep a gluten-free diet and we discovered that this presents very few problems in Germany. we noticed that many menus were provided with nots to identify dishes that contained known allergens. in black my wife avoids dishes with a letter a gluten-containing chalk like weizen, roggen, barley, oats (gluten with chalk wheat, roggen, barley heifer). for the affected carcasses were designated with a B-egg, C-fish D-peanuts were E-soya was for milk products with lactose were g different letters warn about other nuts, celery, senf, sesame, sulphur dioxide sulfite and lupine."
