Recommended for lunch, not disappointed. Friendly service, great food and lovely decor. Great atmosphere. Listening to shipping forecasts in the ladies was novel! Would recommend.

I absolutely loved it! The place has a unique charm and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the staff were fantastic. It's in a great location as well. Spacious and full of all types of marine bits and pieces to look at including wooden boats hanging from the ceiling. The solid fuel stoves pumped out the heat and the food was very good. The restaurant has an intriguing atmosphere and is beautifully decorated, but unfortunately, I wasn't acknowledged after sitting there for 15 minutes. It didn't seem to be overly busy, as there were only four tables occupied, while five staff members chatted by the entrance. I ended up going to the convenience store across the street and grabbing a hot pastry instead. I can't comment on their food, but it might be quite good... if you ever manage to get served.

I had a wonderful meal here recently. The two people with children, who had little appetites, both ordered the smaller portions from the sea shanty menu. However, I noticed that despite their claims, their plates were almost completely cleaned. They both insisted they couldn’t leave anything behind because the fish and chips were so delicious. I really enjoyed my pasta dishes, and the salted caramel ice cream for dessert was fantastic. Our waitress was lovely—very helpful and friendly. It’s such a shame that we live a two-hour drive away!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, the food was delightful, and the decor was beautiful. I stopped by for lunch today and tried the mussels with fries. The creamy sauce was absolutely amazing, the mussels were perfectly cooked, and it was served with warm sourdough bread. The staff was attentive and friendly; our server even suggested we order a kids' dish because it was more affordable! I highly recommend this place, whether you’re looking for a nice meal or just a drink and a snack. As for parking, it was easy to find, clearly marked, and there were plenty of spaces available—though I can imagine it gets busy during the summer. Visualizza piatti
