"Secret tip in Barmstedt! Family, with fair prices, the friendly service and the best Greek food outside Hamburg. Today, for the second time in Thassos, we were a family-run Greek with a beautiful ambience. The village is hidden in a side street of the Barmstedt centre, surrounded by old semi-concrete houses and a small church. The friendly staff welcomes you directly at the entrance and the first Ouzo is on the table in under 20 seconds. During our first visit we had the lamb souvlaki, butterzart and in 15 minutes on the table. As appetizers the probably roasted Peperoni, served with fresh garlic and good olive oil. But now for our last visit. On request we ordered a mixed starter plate first photo, as we do not like fish, individually mounted at a super price! As the main dish followed the lamb fillet of fresh rosemary in red wine sauce and a baked gyro pan. The lamb convinces with its velvety natural taste, rounded by the mild acidity of the dead red wine, with a hint of thyme and garlic. The red wine from Greece Photo 4 . The Gyropfanne, mostly baked with edamer, this time on request with Gouda and good sharpness. Gyros is very delicate and well seasoned, in a delicious cream sauce with mushrooms and onions. "the manor house to griechen is located in the center of barmstedt, Schleswig-Holstein and is certainly one of the most famous and popular restaurants in the city. housed in a German-Danish building, the taverne has a large outdoor parking space and is easily accessible by all means of transport. Although the interieur reminds of Italian restaurants, taverna offers mainly Greek food. I've never been to a Greek restaurant, but I have to admit, it was a very good experience. the food was great. delicious, hearty and perfectly prepared. the appetizers are delicious and varied. grilled vegetables with Greek sauce are the top. if they also like Greek cheese and moderately sharp feed, they only have to go to the tavern. the service is fast and the personal helpful. very satisfied."

"Wir waren heute mal ganz spontan in Barmstedt essen. Über Google hatte ich das Lokal gefunden und gesehen, dass es bei dem Schlemmerblock teilnimmt. Da wir vor kurzem einen dieser Blöcke geschenkt bekommen haben, nahm ich meinen für diesen Abend mit. Telefonisch reserviert, vor Ort dann so pünktlich gewesen, dass wir uns noch einen Platz aussuchen konnten. Wir fanden schnell eine Vorspeise und einen Hauptgang. Die Karte ist positiv übersichtlich, für jeden was dabei. Dennoch nicht überladen, toll. Es werden viele regionale Produkte eingesetzt und auch genau so in der Karte hervor gehoben. So soll es sein. Wir hatten uns die Champignons wie auf dem Jahrmarkt zum teilen bestellt. Die Portionen langt bei keinem Hunger auch für eine Person. Da wir teilen wollten, lagen auch 2 Gabeln bei, hier wurde bis zur Küche zugehört und umgesetzt. Der Hauptgang war ein Schnitzel Gourmet mit Brokkoli und Sauerfleisch mit einer Salat Garnitur. Gemüse war eine schöne Portion, nicht zu knapp. Dazu hatten wir uns Bratkartoffeln bestellt. Alles war super lecker, heiß und in ausreichender Menge serviert. Hier war nichts auszusetzen, außer dass das Schnitzel gerne etwas dünner geklopft werden könnte, wenn es der Ansturm zulässt. Letzteres ist aber jammern auf hohem Niveau. Wir kommen gerne mal wieder, alleine schon wegen der Champignons!"

"we were there for lunch, the prices are on average, just like the service and the food. Sorry, we had so excited about an asiate....The suppe was only to enjoy soy sauce and sambal olek, otherwise it was undefined and rather sweet, seems to have been boiled on a ketchup basis. the main dish was okay, the sweet was fresh and crisp, but the rice was dressed right with on the dish. you eat much better at the Chinese at the railway station in elmshorn (with buffet). in the restaurant was previously an italian, it has not yet been rebuilt and accordingly had zero flair. Maybe it's coming. but that neither a tablecloth nor sets were covered, and the tellers were made from the bare table, we did not like at all. the service lady was accordingly overwhelmed because she was alone and had to serve all the guests (the restaurant was very well filled) alone.I don't think we're going to eat here again."
