"I recently came here for my son’s birthday to get some drinks and food. We went to order at the bar and the gentleman that served us who was tall, tanned, dark hair and wearing a white tank top. was very abrupt and rude to the point I have come out of my way to write a review. He kept very angrily side eyeing us and angrily repeating/questioning our order back to us. We honestly couldn’t work out what we had done. when I looked at my partner to see if he was also feeling the hostile behaviour the bartender saw this and looked as me as if to say “what are we looking at” I explained to him I was just looking at him in disbelief of his attitude. We then placed our order and ate and left. Food was great but terrible terrible attitude from the Barman, probably won’t return."

Didn’t eat but came here Saturday of Pride weekend. Very lively, fun crowd dancing and singing to a live DJ. We stayed for a couple of hours people watching and had a great time. Top atmosphere.

Such a lovely welcoming pub in the centre of Brighton, showing all the Euros matches on big projector screens which was ideal. I just wanted to say a massive massive thank you to a member of your bar staff who was simply incredible at dealing with a customer that made me feel very uncomfortable as a solo female traveller. She was truly remarkable and I hope she knows what a difference our small interaction made to my enjoyment of my solo break in Brighton. You are a star. (She had dark hair and a football shirt on, I hope she knows who she is!! I was watching an England match on Thurs 20th June) Thank you
