"This pub near the Premier Inn is fantastic. I had a delicious early evening meal of Fish and Chips that was both huge and satisfying. The food was freshly cooked with no signs of microwaving, and even the warm bread and olives as a starter were exceptional. To top it off, they forgot to charge for my wife's Merlot, but the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we pointed it out. The prices were reasonable as well. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Farnham."

Great service, great food and a great pub with nice seating area. It’s a nice stop after a walk to waverley wich takes around an hour Thank you Mark!

Seeing “free house” is always good to me. Great welcome from the barmaid- really personable and asset to the pub. Beer selection was good. Fish and chips well cooked from someone who cooks his own beer battered fish

At last a traditional friendly pub with soul and character, very reasonable priced food and excellent quality unlike the chain designer pubs with their premium prices and mediocre food. Will look forward to our next visit

Visited for Sunday lunch with our three dogs. Lots of space to sit and to settle the dogs next to our table. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The roast lunch was extremely good value for money and tasty. The only downside was quite a long time to wait for its arrival. None the less, I’ll certainly revisit.

Appalling customer service. We waited two hours for our food. (Yes, we should have left but when you’re starving and have already waited 30 mins you somehow keep convincing yourself it won’t be much longer). No real explanation or apology and not even offered a discount as a gesture of goodwill/apology. We ate the food when it arrived we didn’t want a discount because we didn’t like the food, we wanted a discount because you wasted our time and our entire afternoon.
