A late night dinner at a small table on a corner near our hotel. A neighborhood place with a gracious owner who was friendly and generous. Wow!! We were so impressed with this little hidden gem!! The interior and exterior is beautifully decorated. And most importantly the food is amazing and the staff are lovely. We visited twice during out stay in Berlin, we had to go back the second time...as it was SO GOOD. They have a great choice of wine and Beer, as well as all the food. The staff speak English which was helpful and they were very friendly. I would recommend the tortellini with ham and broccoli, it was perfect. Portion sizes are very generous. Fantastic experience! A bit of a fast food feel to this caferestaurant with hundreds of options on their menu, but the food was remarkably good and the chicken we had in their tagliatelle and risotto main dishes was as tender and tasty as can be. The main...meals came with a very refreshing surprise! side salad for euros and a very decent liter carafe of pinot grigio was euros. Strangely and rather disappointingly for an Italian restaurant, there was not a morsel of Tiramsu nor any other dolce in sight, but if you're looking for a simple yet very tasty meal without any fuss, like us when we visited, then Sisal could well hit the spot in a very positive fashion
