"I had a frustrating experience today at Smorgers for lunch. The restaurant had designated the first three tables near the door for people with dogs, but two of those tables were taken by those without dogs. The remaining table was too small with a sofa, making it uncomfortable to eat without bending over. Even though the rest of the restaurant was empty when I went to the restroom, non-dog owners chose to sit at the dog tables. I believe the restaurant should have had a sign reminding guests to leave those tables for dog owners. The food was enjoyable, but the lack of comfort made the experience less enjoyable. The staff were friendly. I suggest the restaurant consider putting up a small sign to encourage non-dog owners to use the other available tables, as this would motivate me to consider returning in the future."

The service at this restaurant is fantastic and the food from the good menu is cooked to order at a fair price. They also offer very good coffee and sweet treats. The restaurant is clean and well laid out.

Shame about the water leak in the ceiling. Good atmosphere on a very wet day. Very clean. Efficient service. Really nice hot lunch reasonably priced. Refreshing to find a nice cafe that is not part of a multinational chain

I recently visited Smorgers for a surprise 80th birthday party with my family and friends. The food was fantastic, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect. Mandy and Ken really made it a memorable night. Thank you!

Was told this was a good place to have brunch, we ordered two coffees and gammon ham egg and chips! Service was slow wouldn’t recommend gammon ham it was fatty and veiny and not fit for serving to paying customers. Nothing special at all. At its best it was mediocre not worth £6.90.

I’ve just had a very nicely cooked full English breakfast here. The service was warm, professional and friendly. Excellent coffee, really fresh ingredients. I will probably come in again next time I’m in the area. So much better than any big corporate venue can offer. Support Local business first.

Quite surprised to have paid the best part of £8 for a sandwich and have no garnish, little pile of crisps etc on the side. Haven't visited Smorgers in a few years and to be honest although the food was tasty, having waited 40 mins for a sandwich I doubt I'll return. Not very family friendly although this seems to be the patrons, most of the staff were okay.
