Visted for lunch, the service was very good considerig the place was full. The Pizza was very good and the places was buzzing all locals apart from us.

Visited on a Sunday evening during Whitsun holiday. Restaurant was very busy but nevertheless happy waiting staff reasonably priced traditional three course meal and prompt service.

A nice restaurant with good food. The staff were friendly and welcomed us,as we had just arrived in Rouen. Ordered food and drinks. Food was hot and delicious. We weren't rushed, it was very relaxing.

We arrived with our three dogs asking if we were permitted to eat inside. We were warmly welcomed, had a super meal and a very relaxing start to our trip to The Loire Valley. The pizza was very tasty and the salad and dressing second to none. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant.

A spontaneous choice with very hungry sprogs in tow...and what a choice! Early evening so the first customers in, staff were attentive, thoughtful and we were impressed by how much English they spoke - really helpful. Food was delicious. Pizzas and pastas freshly made (watched the pizzas being thrown) and all very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

Little or no Italiano spoken here (it seemed) but some English was. An extensive choice of Pizzas and Pasta meals on offer. Two accompanying friends each had 4-cheeses Pizza, my wife having Rustica Pizza and I opted for Tagliatelle Carbonara (and yes, as it should be, served with an egg yoke on top). As Italian as it could be in France, it was like eating in Italy and any of the meals were inexpensive, so was good value. Italian beer was Peroni which I enjoy but would have preferred the northern Italian Moretti Bier.. All in all, a good value Italian meal and would happily come here to eat again.

Worst meal ever at #Sole Mio, 122 Martainville, RouenWe are on a road trip from Amsterdam to Vigo passing through Scotland, England, Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and Spain. At each stop we have been having our lunches and evening meals at a variety of different types of cafes, bistros and restaurants. At each stop, until tonight, we have been met with great food, great service, warmth and civility. But tonight we encountered the nadir of service. The staff in this establishment were surly, unfriendly, unhelpful and when it came to pay the bill downright hostile. During the meal we were pointedly ignored and the proprietrix insisted that they could not take credit and demanded cash....

The biggest rip-off in France.I ordered a petit cafe crème on the terrace. The waiter brought it and asked for €6. I thought I had misheard and asked him to repeat what he had said. No, it was €6.I then said it was too expensive and I didn't want it. He said he would ask madame. Meanwhile I didn't drink it but just sat there alternating between seething and feeling upset at being ripped off.Finally after 10 mins I caught the waiter's eye and he came over to say it was €3 and not €6. I paid the the €3, paid and left I do not believe that the waiter was new and did not know the price of this fairly commonly asked for style of coffee. Visited this Italian restaurant with my Grandson while staying in Rouen. We had just arrived in the town and our first evening coincided with his 2nd year Uni results - which were good. We ordered Pizzas which were very good, then desserts, which were also good. The problem came when we ordered Calvados (a local spirit) to toast his good results We waited while we ate our dessert, and then the waiter came back with a huge plate of salmon and other shellfish. Apparently there was a problem with the communication of the order. The owner was NOT pleased that we did n't want this dish - why would we when we had just eaten large Pizzas followed by desserts ?
