Great little find! Delicious food, really good value and pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very helpful, the food arrived quickly and they came over to check all was ok and couple of times during the meal.

Visited here whilst staying locally, food was good and great value for money. Service however was very poor, had to ask for a drinks waitress three times, and never did get a sweet order taken. Real shame as could be great

After being unable to secure a table at our Premier Inn hotel during our break from Scotland, we called this restaurant and they accommodated our party of 7. We were 5 adults and 2 children and found the food to be excellent. The service was great, and the staff were excellent. We would definitely recommend this place.

After hearing rave reviews, we decided to give this restaurant a try. The prices at the bar were quite reasonable, with fantastic specials. The food was fantastic, although the portions were a bit too big. If they were slightly smaller, it would still be a great value. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely return if I was in the area again.

Wow just . Staying at the local pub and found the spencers on trip advisor. People are not wrong about portion sizes and value for money Very welcoming people and really looked me and Rosie my dog I had the prawn cocktail and it was huge but the best I've ever had, followed by pepperoni pizza which again was perfect If you are in the area you MUST visit Visualizza piatti

This is our 5 th time coming to Spencer's, we love it here. The food is brilliant, the owners and staff are so friendly. We have 2 large dogs that are always made welcome. We had a few meals at the weekend, and the service was spot on. Lovley home made food, with generous portions. The staff were professional, and so friendly. We are booking a cabin for October with a few friends. Can't wait to come to Spencer's for our evening meals and drinks.Michelle Horsfall

Service was really poor, had to ask multiple times to order both drinks and food. After a very long wait, we ordered. After another long wait, only half the food arrived! Despite paying for the order up front, the other half appeared to be lost. After yet another long wait, the second half of the food arrived, by which time the other food was cold.I understand that due to COVID regulations a reduced amount of staff can work. But that also means a reduced amount of customers.The real shame here is that the food that come out was good

The service here this evening was terrible! Had to wait over an hour to get our food order taken and even then we had to flag a waitress down! We were a group of 7 only half our meals came out, and they came out with no cutlery ! Again had to ask for cutlery! (Who serves food without cutlery?! Eventually the other half’s meals were served (when we had finished! everyone’s meals were luke warm, wasn’t even offered a free drink or anything! Don’t know what has happened to this place but it has seriously gone downhill! We won’t be returning which is a shame as we’ve eaten there lots before in the past with being locals!
