The food was very delicious. We loved it. The atmosphere at this place was great and the service was excellent like always. I love this place!!!

Been here many times star of india. Very clean n tidy place. All staff are friendly. You can speak to the chef if you need some changes in yr dish. Will recommend.

It's a busy restaurant but an hour an a half and only a few poppadoms? Outrageously slow. Second round of drinks never turned up. Might as well go home and get some beans on toast.

Went with friends who go regularly. Compared to our usual Indian, food was expensive, service was vey slow and not very friendly or personal. Food was good and well presented with generous portions. No little free tipple at the end of the meal either or hot towel but there was a chocolate!

Went for a family birthday meal and had a really disappointing evening. The waiters were miserable and treated us as an inconvenience. The dansak was ridiculously hot, the tarka Dhal like water and the tikka masala looked radioactive and tasted horrible! When my nephew requested a dessert, I was told that they weren 't serving desserts as they were too busy. On leaving, I spotted desserts being served to another table and I asked to speak to the manager. He informed me that they had some new staff who had only just started and that they didn 't really know what they were doing. We had a table booked for 4 people on the 9/3/24 at 18.30. At 20.30 we were still waiting to eat . We noticed that our half of the restaurant was full now , but noticed that EVERY table had no food on, apart from the poppadoms that you normally get at the start . We complained and was told they would check . We decided to pay up and leave as this was not acceptable. We came in to eat not just to drink . We didn’t expect to have to had wait 2 hours for our food. The manager came over as we wanted to complain again , about the length of time we had to wait .As we left we noticed that the other half of the restaurant by the front door, every TABLE was eating, where as our half nobody was eating...
