"I had a short trip to Deidesheim and wanted to invite a long time friend to a nice dinner. Four+ hours and countless courses later we both agreed it was one of the best meals, if not THE best of our life. The service and hospitality...were beyond compare. Everyone was so nice and even put up with my horrible German. Unlike some high end restaurants where there is a wall between the servers and diners, it felt very comfortable gemütlich at our table. The servers would add personal notes about their favorite dishes and lots of information about the wines all the wines, save one were from the Pfalz bonus! Ah, the dishes ... it 's hard to pick a favorite, but I 'll try the cured ? rabbit amuse was outstanding. Also the langoustine ... and the lamb ... and the rhubarb dessert. I don 't know if I 've ever had a menu were each dish was so noteworthy; typically for me there are some high points and low points, but not at L.A. Jordan. Every course was beautifully presented and tasted so good. I hope I have the good fortune to visit here again!"

I have been to this place many times over the years and the food although of very good quality has often been mediocre at best for me or my company. Oh, and forget access to the internet. Unknown here!"

"there was nothing to do in this top restaurant. you can choose between 2 menus, on the one hand the 4-course menu of the regional cuisine modernly interpreted, on the other hand the large gourmet-7 courses menu, which can also be downgraded to 6 or 5 courses. you can follow the weeping recommendations for the accompanying weeping or choose from the extensive weeping card. In addition to the menu there is an amuse bouche, in our case an adventskrenz, on which 5 small tasty per person were stuck around the gans. delicious! after dessert there were homemade pralins and suitable for the advent time baumkuchen. the service is inexorable and friendly and by no means superb. you have to pay €150 to €250 per person, depending on which wine you choose and whether you drink apéritif and digestif. a total of 4-5 hours is required for the 6-course menu, which is pleasant because you are not cured by the menu."

"we were free day with 4 people eating. our reserved table was beautifully decorated, there were the menus and the desire for drinks was asked. the service was very dedicated, polite and was competently available for the choice of wine. the food was fantastic! the appetizer (gratinated goat cheese) was delicious and the salat tasted wonderfully. as main dishes we had red-bellied fillets and ochsenbäckchen and maishuhn - and everything was of excellent quality! the ochsenbäckchen are good for kneeling down!. and that dessert also did not have to hide - we were all full and satisfied, and that at a really good price-performance ratio!"

"Wir waren dort mit einer größeren Gruppe und alle waren mit der Qualität des Essens sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte Ribeye Steak medium rare gebraten und das war spektakulär gut. Außen knusprig, innen roter Kern, super zart, super Geschmack.Das Ambiente ist rustikal, aber eher einfach/ursprünglich/authentisch. Bedienung freundlich, aber das Essen kommt zeitlich versetzt, was man bei einem kleinen Restaurant dieser auch nicht anders erwarten kann. Die Preise waren für das Gebotene sehr günstig.Klare Empfehlung!"
