"we were free day with 4 people eating. our reserved table was beautifully decorated, there were the menus and the desire for drinks was asked. the service was very dedicated, polite and was competently available for the choice of wine. the food was fantastic! the appetizer (gratinated goat cheese) was delicious and the salat tasted wonderfully. as main dishes we had red-bellied fillets and ochsenbäckchen and maishuhn - and everything was of excellent quality! the ochsenbäckchen are good for kneeling down!. and that dessert also did not have to hide - we were all full and satisfied, and that at a really good price-performance ratio!"

a very nice wine place with very good food and weeping, very hospitable, very cozy - inside and outside. we like the heavy wooden and the simple and high quality interior. it will not have been our last visit.

reasonably large card, good floor-to-ceiling kitchen, decent portions, fleeting service, reasonable prices. The chef serves himself and was strongly demanded on Sunday evening by the pretty good operation. the presence therefore left to wish, so only a satisfactory one in this category.

very charming and romantic Location in an old stable with good local Food and very good local riesling from the vineyard which belongs to the Restaurant. I recommend the "Leberknödel" and if your visit is in the right time of the year you should enjoy the White Asparagus with schnitzel and suce hollandaise. Visualizza piatti

We weint in for a small wine tasting asking for red wine. The "winzer" poured us some spätburgunder which was very fruity and sweet even if they where categorized as dry.The he poured some of his best Riesling wines. The "Kalkhofen" 2016 was very good and we bought a couple of bottles. The "Winzer", herr Siben was very friendly and helpful. A pleasant experience.

Unfortunately, neither wein nor dine corresponded to expectations. small, dry, white carving with a bite-resistant spatula for 26 € put a bad price-performance ratio there. Sucked by the local metzger was good, however the supplements were sour wort and potato stampf salted. of crying a wdp winzer I would have expected more. ambiente in the cellar vault very nice.

at the weekend you can get something to eat around the clock even on the afternoon, and this is really all worthy of a high-end hospitable. the wee in the lower price segment not our taste, unfortunately also little red wines. but one finds something and sits in an atmospheric cuh chapel. The entrance area above the inner courtyard is rather nichstsagend in winter. We come back. Visualizza piatti

know this weeping and they've been crying for 30 years. we had calfsmaul bags with pfifferlingen, absolute lace. that was then, too. service very rustic, for a straußwirtschaft it would just go through, I would rather save myself. to cry, wdp is different, an absolute minus. we had a blanc de noir, who left, the kieselbergriesling was not typical of sorts, the paradies garden to forget. the wine card must have been updated by the years the last time 2 or 3 years ago.

we were here to eat on a beautiful late summer day. the ambiente in the Tuscan graced farm is beautiful. At once a small feeling of holiday is set up, which is still supported by the pleasure of a glass of excellently developed auxierres. The service (the chef also serves here) is very friendly but partly overwhelmed. it is necessary to remember here that it is a family-run good-sufficient; and there is the ok)-: we eat (pike teller with leberknödel, saumagen, bratwurst, puree and sour kraut as well as a bark salate from tafelspitz) tastes very good, but is not - as to expect all but very good!

"A year ago we were in Hambel's restaurant in Wachenheim for the first time. Since we had the visit in very good memory and we now know the Saumagen, we can even say that we are back. It was a surprise from our friends, because Klaus Hambel gave a brief and interesting introduction to the production of Saumagen in the entrance area of his restaurant to the butcher shop. Admittedly, do not stumble via the word, but if you eat it, you like it. Mr. Hampel welcomed the 12 participants with a glass of champagne, of course from the basement of the neighboring city Wachenheim. And then it started. We now know everything (almost) about the production of the Saumagen. Mr. Hampel is a specialist in production and now has several flavors in his offer, which is even exported to Taiwan. I have already said to the report on the restaurant that Saumagen's acquaintance is due to the Palatinate Helmut Kohl. In Deidesheim, Deidesheimer Hof, by Starkochs, the Saumagen by Klaus Hambel, many public guests were presented. Mr. Hambel always solves his conversation with nice anecdotes about Helmut Kohl and other celebrities. It also explains from which meat parts and other ingredients the filling is made and which spices are used. How long and at what temperatures the stomachs are boiled. In the meantime, a fresh, warm classic soap is brought out of the kitchen and personalized by the boss. It tastes great on a bungalow. As further samples we receive a piece of soap with truffles and soaps with sheep cheese and chili. You can buy other varieties in butcher shop such as soaps with plums or with green pepper or with chestnuts (cheese as the plum says) or placed in rum for the cold season with apples and plums. It was a nice interesting hour. Then there was a door to the restaurant where we could enjoy the Palatinate cuisine. Interestingly, the big cook, no bowls and no swimmers; no swamp that understands his craft excellently. The project will always take place on Friday at 11 a.m. But who wants to ask for the dates. This year was the last date on 18.11. The Palatinate Saumagen is absolutely recommended. I have eaten it only 4-5 years after I have met the quality and taste and I am completely convinced. You just have to try the Saumagen."
