"I had given a call to the restaurant to book a table, and the employee had shortened the call. then I called again and this time I managed to book a table without problems. I visited the restaurant when I checked the good reviews it had received. I must say, however, that the service and experience we had received were extremely terrible. first I had asked the waiter who had taken our order if it is possible to take home some remaining food as I had read on the menu that "it would be added a fee to the bill for any remaining food". the waiter informed me: yes, that I can take the left to home, even with a fee. I said I'm fine. at the end of my meal I had asked another waiter who had come to take our empty soaked glasses from the fact that the food is wrapped in and the bill. the female waitress responded to hostile wisely that this is not possible; she said: “You can eat anything or eat, there is no farewell”. I told her that the other waiter had informed us that it was possible. the waitress did not apologize and repeated what she had said and went. I felt incredibly mortified and could see that customers close also listen to the conversation. second, it seemed that (another) server had got our order wrong, and after he had told this to the waiter who had served the court; he asked me if I could just eat it. I was quite surprised and informed him that “I can’t because I’m a vegetarian, and that’s a meat dish”. the waiter did not apologize, sighed and went back to get the right order. this court was added to the bill at the end. overall, the service we had received was not something that I accepted at restaurants, and in the regular leave a £5 tip as minimum to show the appreciation. I just couldn't get to do this because the service we had received and not mention that eating was not on the standard I expected it was. I even heard another customer complain about eating on the table opposite me, and the waitress did not apologize. I recommend this restaurant not for the service it had offered, and please check the bill carefully before they pay."

We had a fabulous meal on Friday night . Service and food was excellent easily the best Chinese in Swindon. We are so glad we chose this restaurant for our daughters 21st bday meal.

My son wanted to go here for his birthday celebration, even though the takeaway we had from them a month or so ago was not good (you'd think it had come from another restaurant). So glad we did as everything was first class. The food...was tasty, the meat really tender and I literally can't complain about anything. Can't wait to get back there again.

Our first visit to Rendezvous was great! I was slightly concerned having read the reviews but it seems the poor reviews may just be for the takeaway/ delivery option? I found the table area to be very clean. Each table was also separated with transparent...dividers to maintain social distancing. This didn't spoil the atmosphere though. There was a huge selection of food and everything we chose was full of flavour and tasted very fresh. Will 100% return.

Luke warm clearly reheated slop nothing crispy except the name . Rank Worst Chinese take away I've ever had. Delived at 5pm on the dot tastes like it was cooked yesterday. Spring rolls undercooked and soft and pale Crispy beef soggy Bean sprouts grey and...soft . 4 people's food mostly in the bin . Dog eggs . Don't order for early evening as I tasted like yesterdays leavings. Not even re heated properly . Thoroughly rank . The slop in the picture went in the bin.

decided to try the buffet option. as advertised. but there are different prices that are very misleading (also for purposes). but the prices aside, dive into. that is not a walkable buffet, they put their order from a limited menu (if the waiter comes to her table) halfway through my meal, I went to order some additional items (in my right) and the personal member was reluctant, said: "they must finish this plate we will charge them extra!” even if I had decided to leave up to this point, all my food brought me to an end. Since then no longer back.

Worst customer service ever experienced from a restaurant or takeaway. The staff are rude, ignore customer concerns and blatantly lie to the customer with regards takeaway delivery timings, lied that a food order has left the restaurant and told we were the first delivery, when...we phoned back 20 minutes later (we live 5 minutes from the restaurant) another staff member informed us it hadn’t left! The food that arrived was incomplete to what we ordered and Luke warm. Nothing short of disgusted with this experience and would advise others to chose an alternative restaurant to the rendezvous restaurant or it’s takeaway in abbeymeads as I’m sure it will a far better service and food, not to me...

we ordered 2 different style noodles including king prawn and mixed meat. plus a bark in a black bean sauce and brokkoli in oyster sauce. where I start to taste the nudes terribly (as if the noddles were from the date before they even cost them). they were sloppy and really tasteless. there is really no excuse for how bad they were. I think they forget to add any form of garlic, early onion, paprika etc. we bind most of the nudes that were so bad that I can cook better. the brokkoli was in itself ok, but the oyster sauce was so sparingly placed, it was weak and spicy again was no taste in the sauce. the bark in black bonsoße was the only saving gnad that it should be.
