Taj Mahal - Menu

Excellent, never expected such a good Indian in Trier. I will Surely come back here on my next visit to the region. Luxembourg too has the Star of Asia which was excellent too.

we asked for the vegan options and around 7 were shown on the menu. we even have a delicious vegan starter (not the naan brot as below commentary. so they learned) friendly personal and beautiful inside view.

Located in the centre of Trier on the first floor of a beautiful Art Nouveau house, this Indian restaurant offers a lot of vegan options when you ask for them. The staff is also more than happy to help you find something vegan. The food is great and the prices are rather inexpensive. Also seems to be quite popular with locals.

God!

The Restaurant in the City of Trier has many vegetarian options, but no vegan options. You can order vegan on Demand. For example Milk and Chees is substituted for vegan people. But even to the vegan meals, we got non vegan Naan. They even didn't mention, that the Naan was not vegan. The food was good. We ordered the Vegetable Korma and the Bhindi Masala, all medium spicy But Vegetable Korma was much more spicy. The atmosphere fits the Expectations, for an Indian Restaurant.

This restaurant has good food, very happy with that. Not so happy with overall dining experience though. The staff was not very professional, I found items like matches and such on our table, and it felt more as if you were at someone's place for dinner. It did not have a very clean feeling either. I visited this restaurant during the heathwave in Trier. It was incredibly hot and there was no A/C or any kind of fan available. Also keep in mind: staff speaks German, but no English.

Excellent food, reasonably priced with several choices for vegetarians. The food was very tasty and served with a smile by pleasant, accommodating staff. Something to be mindful of; when asked about how spicy you’d like your meal, ie mild, medium or hot, we specified medium and this was hot for us taste is relative though. Had to ask for some yogurt to cool down the spices. However, this didn’t detract from the food which was gorgeous and I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Whenever we want to go out for dinner and not just have a bite, this is the place to go. It´s a little exalted and not too cheap (I always pay minimum 15€ per person) but worth it. The service is not that super friendly but listening and responding to the guests in any possible way. Don´t forget to order explicit vegan food, then you´ll get vegan bread (that usually is not on the menu and only for the staff) and they will omit cream/joghurt in your dish. In my opinion, the quality of food and dishes is really good and going here is highly recommended!
