It was delicious. Small selection of vegan suitable meals. V states vegetarian meals, but many dishes can be made vegan on request.

They don't have a separate menu but the waiter was able to tell me what was vegan and what could be adjusted to be vegan. Loved the variety!

This is a small restaurant but the curry is truly delicious and homemade. This is not a fancy restaurant and there was no alcohol served, but if you are looking for a delicious authentic Indian meal close to the University of Edinburgh campus, then this is the ticket.

The South Indian food at this restaurant is delicious and authentic. While the starter portions were a bit small, they were still very tasty. The curries, especially the Malabar curry, were excellent. Although it may not be the most affordable option, the quality of the curries more than makes up for it.

Unfortunately, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table despite having a reservation for 8pm. We were finally seated at 8.30. The food was fantastic, but the portions were a bit small. how I miss eating the lush lunch in tanjore! Tanjore often visited when I studied in edinburgh. eating was just as my mom cooked lonely, rude and sweet! one of my favorite places in edinburgh when I was sick at home and my favorite South Indian cuisine was missing! if ur in edinburgh and want yummy south indian food then it is tanjore!

when they have been india, they will know that this is the best of Indian food. we came to be greeted with a warm welcome. all of our four tables had different dishes during and we all taste our dishes. many years ago I was happy enough to travel a few months in the south indiens. Since then I have never managed to find something where in Britain replicates the amazing tastes of this region. now I have what a fantastic meal. to have cost eight different dishes and to find everyone, just as well cooked as the other is very rare. I had the sambar idli and then the lamb karaikudi, one of the best lamb dishes I ever tasted. the service and the busy atmosphere were amazing. I can't wait to go bac...
