Die Anrichtung der Gerichte war super, allerdings war das Fleisch qualitativ nicht das beste…das Gyros war fettdurchzogen und die Leber auch ungewöhnlich fettig. "Leckeres Essen. Restaurant ist im amerikanischen Diner Stil. Hat leider nur bis 14 Uhr geöffnet. Die Auswahl ist super man kann frühstücken und Mittagessen. Leider gibt es keine Spare ribs mehr. Die waren dort früher einfach super. Der Rest ist auch sehr lecker. Es gibt Burger, Schnitzel und auch eine Tagessuppe. Die Burger sind sehr zu empfehlen. Portionen sind gut und ausreichend, ist vielleicht den ein oder anderen Euro teurer, wie bei dem großen M, dafür aber leckerer und gute Qualität. Es schmeckt einfach super."

"Ein Restaurantbesuch ist oft nicht nur eine Frage des Geschmacks, sondern auch des Gesamterlebnisses. In diesem Sinne betraten wir voller Neugierde das „Motz am Fluss“ im Heilbad Heiligenstadt, das nicht nur mit einem kreativen Ambiente, sondern auch mit einer vielversprechenden Speisekarte lockte. Doch trotz der hochwertigen Speisen und der angenehmen Atmosphäre hinterließen die überzogenen Preise, insbesondere für die Beilagen, einen bitteren Beigeschmack. Für eine Portion Pommes (Süßkartoffeln) 13 Euro in Rechnung zu stellen zeugt schon von einer gewissen Chuzpe der Betreiber. In Kombination mit einem Salat oder Gemüse summieren sich allein die Beilagen zu einem kleinen Investment bzw. Ärgernis. Das Motz am Fluss ist zweifellos ein Ort, der mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet wurde. Die Raumgestaltung, die stimmungsvolle Beleuchtung und die durchdachte Dekoration trugen zu einer Atmosphäre bei, die sowohl einladend als auch ansprechend war. Das Personal war freundlich und professionell. Die Speisekarte versprach eine kulinarische Reise voller Raffinesse und Kreativität. Jedes Gericht wurde mit hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet und präsentierte sich auf dem Teller wie ein Kunstwerk. Der Geschmack war zweifellos exquisit und hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt. Dennoch konnte ich nicht ignorieren, dass die Preise an manchen Stellen völlig überzogen erschienen. Trotz der hohen Qualität der Speisen und des Ambientes hatte ich das Gefühl, dass einige Gerichte und Getränke ihren Preis nicht rechtfertigen konnten. Dies trübte leider unseren Gesamteindruck und ließ uns das Gefühl haben, dass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz stimmig war. Für besondere Anlässe mag das Motz am Fluss dennoch eine gute Wahl sein, jedoch sollte man sich bewusst sein, dass ein Besuch hier mit höheren Ausgaben verbunden ist."
