Incredible place to dine out or just simply to go for drinks, the staff are very nice and helpful, the atmosphere of the inside and outside by the canal make this place outstanding. The food is at a very high standard and the prices are not too expensive. Would highly recommend this place

The restaurant is located in an interesting building by the old canal basin, which has been converted into a large pub. The staff is great - friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to find out information if they don't know it. The food is good, although not cheap. The pasta dishes come in two sizes, with the smaller size being better suited as a starter. The beer selection is also good, with a wide variety to choose from. There is a large display of beer taps on the bar. Overall, the prices are reasonable for the quality of food and drinks offered.

Excellent and friendly service. There's always a cool atmosphere here. We started off sitting outside by the canal, then moved in and settled ourselves before the band started. The barstaff remembered our drinks very quickly and our empties were collected promptly with a bit of friendly banter. I've always loved Telfords. Been coming here for years and with good reason. Faces change but the standards don't. Always high. Always friendly. Always a great atmosphere. They're always showcasing local and startup bands and I loved the band on tonight (A Band On Ship).
