We had take away from the Arab Boy which will now be our new favourite local and we cannot wait to visit in person. Very reassuring allergy awareness for a coeliac. Had an incredible burger, salted squid and a brownie. All 10/10. Food was delivered in a timely manner, in recyclable good quality boxes which prevented soggy chips. So impressed. Thank you!

Last Sunday we had an amazing roast pork dinner from the home delivery menu. The pork was so tender and crackling was insane !! I would never expect this level of quality from a home delivery, i am so pleased we chose to support this local business during these challenging times, hope to be in for a drink very soon. 2nd takeaway from The Arab Boy and both times have been amazing. Portion sizes are huge! First time we had a selection of small plates (calamari, chicken wings, hallomi sticks, truffle chips) plus Mac n cheese with Stilton. Delish! Just now we have had a buttermilk burger, Mac n cheese (addicted now) and crispy fried artichoke small plate. Enjoyed every bit of it, delivery is quick and everyone is so friendly. My wife, a visiting family member from California, and I had an early dinner at the Arab Boy on Upper Richmond Road this evening. It was our first visit after COVID-19, and even though we didn't have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and given a few tables to choose from. The service was excellent, our orders were taken promptly, and I opted for the 'Fish Friday' special offer of Haddock, fat chips, and mushy peas for £14. It was delicious! Overall, we had a very enjoyable evening and plan to return again soon.

I had a great experience at this cozy neighborhood pub. It is not too large, with a variety of seating options including sofas, armchairs, tables, and benches. The background music is at a pleasant volume, and there is a small beer garden in the back as well as some partially sheltered tables in the front for those who enjoy a pint and a smoke. The staff is friendly and efficient, creating a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere that I have enjoyed for both drinks and full meals. The food is delicious, with options for a full meal or smaller plates to accompany a drink. I will definitely be returning.

I fancied a few beers and a meal while I worked, but found the WiFi wasn't working. Barmaid was unhappy being interrupted from playing with her phone, told me she didn't know where the router was to reboot it, she couldnt find out, and that no, she wouldn't leave a message that there was a problem for whoever did know. Was rudely told I should have bought a data plan for my phone. Went out of her way from the very start of the conversation to make it plain she couldn't care less and that she resented my having interacted with her. I took my custom to The Rocket a short way away where the beer is half the price, the WiFi works, the staff aren't rude and the view is nicer since it's smack bang... Visualizza piatti
