"Arrived for an impromptu Sunday lunch without a booking at opening time (12) and took one of last 2 available tables. Other spare table was gone 5 minutes later. Had a lovely Sunday roast with delicious vegetables served separately to allow mixing and matching. Personally chose the vegetarian mushroom and blue cheese parcels and couldn't fault them and what I stole of others' meat options were very good. Service was great and friendly and chatty. Child loved the simple but well built swing/slide out the back."

Excellent little pub right on the coastal path cycleway and right opposite the station. Very friendly welcome, excellent good value lunch (with a wide variety of vegetarian food) washed down with an excellent pint of Jail Ale!

Local village pub, newish landlords who are finally making it a go to pub, especially midweek themes. Charity quiz nights and tonight music bingo(who knew) well attended and booked for the next one. Visited 3 times while on holiday in September really good meals on all occasions. Pie night, Sunday lunch, wanted the curry night but a mix up on social media meant it was not available, never mind always next year. 5 stars Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Monkfish Scampi, Roast Beef Dinner
