"tonight we went to our favorite fish chips shop in cemaes. I heard another customer asked about salt and pfeffer huhn in cheesy chips. I asked about it because I didn't know they did. I was told that salt and pfeffer huhn is a new product. it is striped by huh served in broth crumbs with the option of Cheesy chips, with added chili, and/or on a baptism. I decided to salt and pfeffer huhn with cheese chips. the last time I wrote a review, I almost forgot to add a photo and had eaten half the chips when I took it. this time I remembered. the photo shows the complete grinding time of the chicken strips with Cheesy chips. the chicken is full of taste and the cheese gives him the beautiful finished taste. next time I want to try the same, but added with chili. I really hope this menu choice is to stay here. Whether they are regular or new to this facility, the chicken strips are highly recommended."

"A perfect pub in the most perfect location. Llanfechell...serving local ale coupled wuth a wide selection of beers, wines and spirits. Pleasant staff who go out of their way to make you feel most welcome...ie we first visited the pub last November whilst attending a Nick Harper gig in the Caffi Siop Mechell which was superb, we attended Nick's gig this year in the same venue... The Y Cefn Glas is almost opposite and we were remembered some 12 months later...they also remembered what drinks we liked...so I can thoroughly recomend Y Cefn Glass....well worth a visit"

"Ate at the Stag Thursday night (it was curry night with a couple of options for those not fancying a curry). We both went for the beef madras it was absolutely superb! The right amount of heat, delicious lean beef that was cooked to perfection absolutely melted in the mouth! The rice was cooked perfectly generous portions. We enjoyed it so much we booked back in for the Friday burger night. Soooooo glad we did! Absolutely divine homemade burgers with a wide choice of additional toppings sides. Honestly they were the best onion rings we have ever had! My partner, who doesn’t normally eat pork couldn’t get enough of the loaded tater tots! Excellent value, delicious food, friendly welcoming staff locals. The stag is a small village pub, it does get busy but it is worth the short wait! Exceptional, looking forward to visiting again"

"5 stars across the board for value. The hotel was a great place to stay. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Some things aren't perfect but we had a bed, a loo, a shower with hot water, coffee and tea and an excellent full english breakfast. We will definitely go back. The bay is delightful. Thank you for a very pleasant night's stay. Rooms: 5 Service: 5"

"Having been walking the Anglesey Coastal Path for many years, my wife and I have dropped on umpteen noteworthy eating establishments. Banc rates up there with the best. Whether it be the the quality of the food, or the really good value, or the jovial quality of a happy man running his own cafe. In 70 miles of walking it is the only one we have had lunch at, then returned for afternoon tea, then had lunch again the next day. We enjoyed the quality (homemade quiche sausage roll trice , the value, and especially the welcome. And I appreciate Staffordshire crockery. It is not actually on the Coastal Path, or even by the sea front. It is maybe 10 minutes away, with an interesting walk up the high street. But it is so worth seeking out. While we were there we got the impression it was well patronised by locals, which should be a recommendation in itself. I have just been telling 2 other families, coming to Anglesey how to find it. On a practical point, dogs are welcome in the garden. So obviously not when it is raining, but also after inclement weather when it is still unacceptable under foot (paw ? We expect to call when we do the next bit of the Coastal Path."
