"Food was okay, I had the Harbour Burger which was very tasty. Came with a fried egg on it which I found a bit odd but so be it! I just took it off and didn’t eat it. Nothing wrong with it, just not for me on top of a burger. Chips seemed to be skin on fries which is a trend I hate with a passion but that’s personal choice I suppose. Onion rings we ordered as extra were delicious. Staff who served us looked like she was heading for the electric chair once her shift was over but she did crack a smile at one point. I appreciate not everyday is a magical experience in life but in customer service, you need to plaster one on anyway really, even if it’s faker than a reality star’s molars."

Had a lovely lunch here. The food was traditional and really tasty. The portions are very generous. Very friendly bar and table staff who were very helpful and efficient. Restaurant decoration and paintwork looked a bit tired, but this didn't detract from a very enjoyable meal. Service: 5

5 stars across the board for value. The hotel was a great place to stay. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Some things aren't perfect but we had a bed, a loo, a shower with hot water, coffee and tea and an excellent full english breakfast. We will definitely go back. The bay is delightful.
