We were a group of 20 people friends and family celebrating our sons 18th we had the room in the back so it was private. Beautifully decorated room. We had a sit down meal the food was amazing well cooked and well presented. Everyone enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this place for a meal or even a stop off for a drink 10 out of 10. Thank you

Well we are trying to find a place to have a descent Sunday lunch, we thought we would try this place as we have heard good reviews. I thought the place is decorated lovely, the staff were nice and polite the young waitresses were lovely, I cannot say the food was un tasty but for the price, to only get half a carrot and not a great deal of meat I was disappointed, nice Yorkshire pudding mine never turn out like that… Visualizza piatti

Having just arrived locally for a week break, we decided to pop in for dinner (I booked during the week before). The interior was lovely and the staff were very friendly. We both had the fish and chips. The portions were a good size and the food was good. Good pub food and decent drinks were definitely needed! The only issue is the parking as the small car park opposite gets quite full, but we parked a bit further down the road and walked back.

My daughter was looking for somewhere local to celebrate her 50th Birthday with family and friends we had eaten at the Smithy Arms several times so knew they could accommodate a fairly large number of people in a room with an excellent outside space. Anna decided on a buffet supper and what a great table of deliciouse food. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff were wonderful and full of suggestions as the age range of the 80 guests was 1 month to 85 years.

We came for Sunday diner today which was very yummy but just not enough for four of us we only had a small dish of vegetables half of which was red cabbage and none of us like so we had half a dish of veg for four and the Yorkshire puddings were quite dry but the meat was beautifully cooked the gravy was outstanding and the veg we had was equally yummy the service was amazing and everywhere looked clean and tidy had there been more veg and maybe some mashed potatoes it would of been perfect we will 100% come back though as like I say it was yummy x Visualizza piatti
