"Although my meal, in the end, was delicious, it was a torturous route to get there. Oh, and before I forget, I did send a message directly to the YR via their website ‘contact us’ facility on Sunday 24 Sept, but not so much as an acknowledgement which downgraded my review one star further. I have a dairy intolerance and telephoned in advance to check I could be catered for and was assured I could be. I ordered sea bass and was assured dairy free. It arrived covered in a sauce but again assured it was dairy free. I was suspicious so asked yet again and a second waitress went to “double” check. After a few seconds my plate was whisked away. I was with a group of friends but at no time was any one of us asked about allergies or intolerances. I could have been severely unwell and this is not just about me. I expect better. Room for improvement"

"Really enjoyed this food, especially the tandoori chicken (1/2 leg) and the chapati (which were very soft and a decent size). We also tried the kitchen special lamb which was unique and tasted very good. The only thing I would not recommend is the chicken korma, just not my taste, it was a little too sweet. And I would love it if there was some cut raw onion with the tandoori chicken. Otherwise, buying the food online then collecting it was very easy and I got a 10% discount ! "2nd time ordering first week didn’t deliver a rice dish and ordered black coconut ice cream but just sent cookie dough instead as changed supplier. This week forgot to included husbands Katsu curry and rice and can’t get through on phone. Very disappointed. I hope you credit me back for this as we paid online when we placed ordered. Still can’t get through on phone and emails not replied to either"

"Took my dad for lunch here today, despite working with minimal staff, they coped admirably, remained friendly throughout, even took the time to have a nice warm chat ask if we were happy with our meals. We were allocated a nice window table, a pleasant ambiance. Our meals were delicious, cooked perfectly, plenty of it. And with excellent promotions, proper savings, choices. The manageress was very helpful, friendly, whilst ordering the young lady waiting tables I think her name is Jess) could not have been more cheery, helpful, informative. So rare today, as I said to her when there; we feel it right to give praise on these rare occasions, so that they know that there smiles, service, details effort made IS very much appreciated by some of us out there. And for this we shall most certainly return. Highly recommended."
