"We have just spent a week in Talgarth. We visited this pub for dinner twice and the odd drink or two during our stay. Jayne and her staff were brilliant. Made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of tips for things to do....We had two meals there during our stay, both were top notch! Food was of high quality and freshly cooked. They had a lovely salmon and prawn pasta dish on the menu, I can't eat prawns so they cooked it without! Looking forward to going back here on our next visit! Thank you Jayne and to your team...xxx"

Lovely cosy pub. Staff friendly and helpful. Food superb. Outdoor area could benefit from some lighting a few fairy lights would be a nice touch. Looking forward to our next visit.

We visited the Bridge Inn recently and really enjoyed our visit. The food was absolutely lovely and they have warm log burning stoves which make the pub a lovely place to relax and have a pint on a cold winters night. Dog friendly as well...:

We had such a nice time, the menu is really good pub food, all prepared by the chef. I had fish pie and it was delicious. Really lovely bar staff, gold star service and all the local people in the pub were really friendly too....Will be a regular from now on!

We popped in for dinner, were glad to see that the place's dog friendly as we had our dog with us. The food was really good, I had the veggie lasagne and the sticky toffee pudding with cream, both were very tasty. The staff were...lovely, friendly and efficient.

Myself and two friends booked for an evening meal. The pub was nicely busy. Great selection of beers, wines, spirits and most importantly Gins! The menu was a nice size and varied selection of three courses. The food was cooked and presented nicely. Service was...overall good and efficient. Happily return. Booking does seem advisable.

Was staying in Talgarth for a mid winter break last weekend and we popped to the pub for a drink. Great wood burner going and very welcoming owner. We had a few drinks and decided to stay for food very good. Highly recommended. As...it is by the river I would think that in summer a few beers sat at the tables outside would be very very nice.

We had a great meal beautifully cooked steaks and all the trimmings. The service was excellent and very friendly. Our waitress told us a lot about her life as a shepherd and answered all our questions about the locality. The atmosphere was warm and...friendly and both locals and visitors were evidently enjoying themselves. Couldn't have been better.

Good find for a meal out with the family. It was pie night and those who had pies enjoyed them. The hunters chicken was tasty, the chicken was great and not dry at all. I asked for extra salad and no chips which they were...able to do. We had a honeycomb cheesecake to finish, this was a good portion. We ate in the area downstairs which was a bit draughty but was a nice looking area. All in all a good evening out.
