The Brown Hare - Menu

undercooked food new staff didn't look like they had been given a lot of support in training shame this used to be a brilliant pub. The toilets were pretty dirty and very smelly.

Me and the good lady went to The Brown Hare. We were greeted and shown to our table. Our waitress was called Gemma and could not do enough for us. The food was amazing and drinks to die for. The whole night was 10/10 even...the good lady was happy.

stayed here on the way to home from a day in fleetwood for me birthday meal my father (91) had just suppe, I had the atlantic cod that is very big. I couldn't eat it all, so lucy it was in a box for...I take home,both lucina was really helpful. the black hare is worth a visit

I and the woman heard that there was a new menu and thought we would try. it was great that I had buttermilkburger and the good lady had the kebab. the burger was fresh huh and the kebab was amazing. the personal was excellent and. we were for the quiz that was brilliant and a great date out at night.

Been a fair while since we visited this tucked away eatery and we were treated well by the staff and some good decent food. Pre booked and shown to a lovely table near the fire. Prompt service by Gemma for drinks and food order taken....Meals arrived within a timely manner and the sirloin steak was one the best ever and the fish and chips were tasty. Overall service and food was more than accommodating and will return

Came to the brownhare today for Sunday lunch was so looking forward to roast beef dinner was very disappointed after asking if I could have my beef well done to be told by the waitress that I couldn't have it well done it comes pink...and that was it so I quickly changed my mind to scampi which was lovely but so wanted roast beef we then had a dessert I had the raspberry roulade it was beautiful but it was cut so thin and such a small piece for £4.50 the other guests enjoyed there food very much but I was left disappointed.

cash prices have risen dramatically in this week, significantly above inflation. average over £4 a pint for even the cheaper beer, almost £5 for small wein. While I understand that the costs are rising in all sectors, I cannot understand that marstons think that 25p or more. add to a pint if wetherspoons only added 10p. the menu also seems more expensive than it was. I wasn't the only customer who thought the cost was excessive, as I heard other customers coming between themselves and the personal. if the pubs want to withdraw the people after the pandemic, this is not the way to do it. Back to a £1 can be home from the super market for me, the additional £3 of marstons added is a freedom!

This is my third visit in about two weeks and yet again the food and service were excellent. The Brown Hare has improved 200% since COVID. I had stopped going there prior to Covid because it had gone downhill so not sure if it is...new management but whatever it is now really good and really busy. I had the Roast Beef dinner and said I liked lots of gravy the manager brought over two jugs perfect, The beef was tender and vegetables cooked perfectly and the Yorkshire Pudding was excellent. Stuffed as we were, we did all manage a dessert special that comes with a drink and I had the cinnamon bread butter pudding again it was excellen t. Please, please keep up these standards. lunch here yesterday, no great experience. there were 3 of us and it took 2 hours from beginning to end. the drinks arrived quickly, but the meals were a completely different time scale! the restaurant was not busy at all, I had telephoned in front of the hand to check chips were overcooked with many tiny, which I was disappointed even served. the rest of our main course was okay, but we had to wait half an hour until our dirty teller cleaned and dessert order. that was only after I asked twice. desserts were not complicated, but lasted another half an hour to arrive, then one of them was not what had been ordered. at this time, we would have eaten everything she would have accepted. the exc...
