"The food at this restaurant is delicious and the portions of Sunday roast are huge, all at reasonable prices. The front parking was a bit cramped, but there are some easily accessible spaces in the additional parking area. There is a large children's play area that kept the kids entertained while waiting for their meal. The service was also excellent. The only downside is that the venue itself feels a bit worn and run down, especially the bar area. Overall, I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5."

"I usually have their food delivered, and it's always delicious. However, when I picked it up today, the lamb curry was made with lamb cubes instead of lamb shank. It was still very tasty, but I prefer it the usual way it comes. Thank you. Takeout service for dinner was excellent, with each person's meal costing between £10-20. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect score of 5."

"I have visited Dennis of Bexley several times over the years and have always been impressed with the quality. However, during my most recent visit a week ago, I was disappointed. I asked for a beef salad box, only to be told that they no longer make them. The staff suggested I get the same ingredients in a sandwich, which was not suitable for me due to a bread intolerance. I pointed out that the salad box was still advertised on the menu board, but the staff just shrugged. I ended up getting a pre-packed chicken Caesar salad, which was terrible. The lettuce was wilted, the croutons were soggy, and I had to throw it away. Additionally, the four lattes we ordered tasted awful, unlike our previous visits. They seemed to be made with powdered milk and one even looked like dark brown dishwater instead of a latte. I submitted an online complaint to Dennis of Bexley but have not received any response. I will not be returning to this restaurant."

"I've been coming here for many years. Sy as an owner has done an amazing job with the Mahan, the last thing anyone expected in Joydens Wood was a takeaway Indian restaurant! Friendly guy and always happy to chat. Having just demolished a Lamb Naga with Peshwari Naan, it's probably the best takeaway I've had in a long time. The Restaurant itself is always spotless and well maintained. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I visited this restaurant with friends for a “catch up” meal. Firstly, some of the last reviews say it’s the best Indian in Swanley however that isn’t hard to win as this restaurant is probably the only one now considering the others have closed down/knocked down so that wouldn’t be accurate to comment on. We arrived at our booked table at 7pm. The restaurant was busy with people also coming and going a lot to collect takeaways, however that wasn’t too much of an issue. I found the restaurant was very smart with how they operate. An example being is how long it takes for the staff to take your order and also the time is takes for the food to arrive. So we arrived at 7pm and ordered our food at 8pm. The food then arrived around 9pm. The restaurant was that busy where the orders wouldn’t of took that long and it felt that it was all part of the “order more drinks” as the staff are constantly at your table asking if you want more drinks which is smart, yet annoying but be mindful of that. The food was nice however when it did eventually arrive and i have no complaints about that. It was a bit pricey however and the staff were genuinely friendly and you also receive a “complimentary drink” when you have paid your bill. Would i go back? Yeah probably as the food was nice but i would just be mindful of the service and order more quickly."
