We had a big group with children, adults, and a dog. The food was delicious, the beer was great, and the service was excellent. We even convinced the locals to try the rag pudding!

I want to thank you for the excellent service we received over the phone when booking and on the day of our 'after funeral' hot food. It was exactly what we all needed and the setting was perfect. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating.

I have visited this restaurant for the second time now, and both times I had a great dining experience. My partner ordered the black pudding with bacon starter, and I couldn't resist trying some after not ordering a starter for myself. It was delicious! I would definitely recommend the cheesecake here, it is really good. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. I am looking forward to my next visit.

We arrived late in the evening on a Sunday while walking our dogs with friends. We were warmly welcomed, including our dogs. We didn't have a reservation but were still able to order food. We enjoyed nachos, pizza, and chips, and everything was perfect. We will make sure to come back to this place on our walking route again. The average cost per person was between £20-30. Our ratings are: Food - 5, Service - 5, Atmosphere - 4.

great pub in beautiful rural landscape. many seats on the inside and outside with a large parking lot to the back. helpful, friendly staff. large menu, I can especially recommend the pizzas especially the vegetarian florentin with a ei, plus the broken halloumi with chips and muddy heaps. my friends recommend the rag pudding. the pub also hosts every month a meeting of the artist evening, Pre-Covid, where a local artist talk about their art and show it to buy for people. a so inspiring idea and a great evening.

This pub is fantastic! The location is stunning and a perfect spot to unwind after a day of hiking around the reservoir and countryside. The food is absolutely delicious and served in generous portions. They have a wide variety of drinks, including real ale. The pub has plenty of seating both indoors and in the beer garden, creating a lovely atmosphere. The service is top-notch, with a friendly smile. I will definitely be returning. I tried the bread pudding, chips, mushy peas, and gravy, and it was incredible. Also, they are dog-friendly!
