"We were made welcome the moment we entered, shown to a table and given all the info we needed. There were lots of options both on the menu and the specials board for vegetarians and the food came in good time too! The plates were full and spectacular! Again, service was attentive and without fault. Our husky was made quite happy as well with water, a cuddle and a treat. What an amazing pub with sizeable parking by side. I had a ploughman's here and it was like every ingredient had leapt from the garden straight onto the plate. So fresh, so good and so much too! Well worth stopping here. What a fantastic discovery we made today! This lovely pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the homemade dishes we tried were all incredible. We had the beef chili, corned beef pie, and cottage pie, and I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Overall, it deserves a perfect score: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5.

We were served by a wonderful young man who made our experience enjoyable. We felt compelled to change our initial impressions. Three of us are following the Slimming World plan, and we appreciated the beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant. I had a delicious jacket potato with mushrooms and bacon, which was very generous in portion size. Everything was beautifully presented.
