A cafe rather than a restaurant but offering some good food nevertheless. The surroundings are quite basic, the service is adequate and the food is good, especially on themed nights. Fish night is very popular so would advise booking. House wines are recommended. Visualizza piatti

We stayed on the island for one night, and came here for breakfast. It has a really good menu choice, including vegetarian and some vegan options. The food was great, and the staff were just lovely. We'll definitely be back on the island, and head for this place.

We visited Colonsay for a week very soon after cafes and restaurants opened and agree totally with the previous review from The Boatman. We booked evening meals for 3 nights and we weren't disappointed. The food is locally sourced and very tasty. Gavin couldn't have done more to make us welcome and make our evenings so enjoyable, despite one night when windy and wet weather did not alter their excellent service. Thank you so much. We have booked for next year and can't wait to return to the pantry.

My partner and I were on holiday here in Colonsay and as there are only two places to eat out on the island, we wanted check out the pantry. We arrived at 2.20pm and were given a table outside that was disinfected. We sat and looked at the menu and waited for our order to be taken. Over 20 minutes has passed, nobody had come to the table to take our order. So being patient, I thought I’d order using the app suggested, Hopt. I placed our order and was told by the app it would be ready by 2.50pm.
