"We Arrived and were told our booking could not found(table for 8 on Saturday). Were then told they can still fit us in . We were soon seated and ordering drinks , also our booking was found (a mistake by one of our waitresses whom apologised, not everyone would admit guilt. The food arrived in good time, all together, and was very good ,tasty and full of flavour. Generous portions. The staff were all very polite and attentive. A good time was had by all."

"I’m really sorry to share this, but the food was incredibly disappointing! We went out as a group of three to celebrate a birthday. One of the starters was cold in the middle and had to be sent back. My main dish was even worse—the chicken tasted off and was hard, and the potatoes in the sag aloo were also tough. As for the tarka dahl, it was completely tasteless and had a powdery texture. When I tried my partner’s dish, it tasted like curried lime pickle! The chapati was rock-solid. It’s really sad to say, but the evening was ruined, and at that point, we just wanted to go home instead of waiting for replacements. The service was excellent, but there should have been a bigger discount on the bill. Our special evening, which we were so excited about—especially after reading such rave reviews—was completely marred by the food. The service and atmosphere were great, but the food was not at all suitable for enjoying!"

"Having been here a few times, we decided to drop in for a sandwich on the way to the Norwich museum. We hadn’t booked but that wasn’t a problem. Given menus we choose and waited while others who came in after us had their orders taken. After 20 minutes or so we had our order taken and waited for our drinks to arrive. Another table got theirs first, so we asked the waitress if we could have ours. When our food eventually came out my toasted mushroom sandwich was stone cold, my husband had a fish finger bap which was Luke warm. It wasn’t very busy. The waitress asked if everything was ok and I asked if the toasted sandwich should be stone cold. She went away and on returning said yes mine was meant to be cold but the fish finger should be hot, I pointed out mine may as well been an ordinary sandwich. She offered a discount and gave us 15%. We accepted this and left feeling as if we were a nuisance. Won’t go back."

"After a few years break we returned to try the Sunday roast. Service was excellent and the new decor very pleasant The food is delicious Would have been a 5 star review but our table was a little cramped and too close to others which meant I had to keep moving"

"We dined at Cafe Savannah today, without much knowledge about Long Stratton or its dining options. However, we were fortunate to have chosen this cafe. Every aspect of the experience was authentic - from the warm welcome to the delicious freshly prepared food. The food was of top-notch quality, with both of us thoroughly enjoying the beef burgers we ordered as our main course. We found out that the burgers were sourced from a local butcher, which added to the overall satisfaction of our meal. The coffee was also bursting with flavor. Convenient parking was available right next to the cafe, making our visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was definitely worth a visit, and if we ever find ourselves back in Long Stratton, we know exactly where to go for a delicious lunch. Thank you."
