Would definitely recommend. Friendly staff, great food, great price. We really enjoyed our Sunday Dinner. Clean plates all round.

The best fish and chips I’ve had in years and Sunday lunch is to die for. The food is fresh and all home made. The staff are Friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Went here on our first night for food, the welcome was friendly and the food and local beer were good too. We noticed they had a quiz night on thursday and the owner said he could squeeze us in, so glad we did for fun...and banter between teams. Visualizza piatti

great Sunday dinner very recommended and brilliant worth far from as mentioned at other place, since the renter was welcoming, friendly and funny we had to wait about 20 minutes for eating when they want to go on Sunday...here and they should book better

Popped in earlier in the week to book. The roast was delicious, meat and vegetables perfectly cooked and lovely gravy. Hadn't intended to have desert but couldn't resist the sticky toffee pudding. Oh my, never have we had a portion of clotted cream as large...as the dessert.

Local friendly pub with great food, we booked a table for 7.30 table was occupied but they found us a large table at the rear of the bar area . we are a family of 3 with a 2 year old and booked in for an early tee after reading some beautiful reviews. we had a table on the back of the pub and enjoyed good quality made at a reasonable price to house. The...Staff was very helpful, although there was no children's menu, we could ask a smaller part for our little boy at a lower price he had enjoyed very much. the real ale was also local and very nice. many thanks for a great meal.

Sign on the door says closed Thursdays. On passing later on Thursday it was clearly open, heaving with customers and also quiz night. In we went only to be told by the woman behind the bar. Table service only but all tables were full. Can...we just get a drink at the bar? The woman behind the bar looked towards the man at the end of the bar. NO boomed the rude man from the end of the bar who I can only assume is the obnoxious man mentioned in the other one star reviews. Why on earth would you want to give somebody like that your money. Pop round the corner to Perks where a warmer welcome and manners awaits. It would appear this place opens for locals only on Thursday for quiz night. How biza...

we love real ale, an old school pub atmosphere, with super friendly rentals and locals. the crab and most praised tap nailed it. Moreover, we are very pleased that service, atmosphere and al were always excellent. we don't have a chance to try that, but it looks great. it is super busy on quiz Thursdays (no food) and later in the week and about the weekend, for eating, so booking is important to avoid disappointment. we must say that the one star reviews here are extremely unfair and are in no way an exact reflection of the crab and lobster. we fully understand that it can be disappointing not to have a table and to have a meal or drink in such a beautiful facility. but. to allow this disapp...
