"Superb, friendly service and a brigade performing at top level despite it being New Years day! Every dish perfectly executed and all courses fresh, flavoursome and both aesthetically and palate pleasing. Some really inspired cooking and perfectly balanced flavours for even the most jaded Christmas palate. Even the fries are cooked with love and are crisp and moreish. Such exciting dishes that dessert was swerved in favour of returning to the starters for scallops with a wowsering Hibiki Whisky Bacon Bon Bon. Cocktails are taken seriously here and are equally creative; this is no eatery just tipping its hat at mixology. Relax, enjoy the atmosphere and experience the fact this restaurant ‘does what it says on the tin’ it is most definitely’smokin’."

Great food , good service, third visit. Mango chilli cocktail was amazing. The only thing that could be improved is to install an automatic door as customers kept leaving the sliding entrance door open causing a cold draft. The staff also were struggling to open and close the door while carrying trays of drinks and plates in and out to the tables outside.

A horrible night with the weather, braving wind and rain on the Ventnor sea front to come to this seafood restaurant, but it was so worth it. Dining alone, I often only have one course but it was all so delicious I went for starter, main and dessert, it was all so good. Only a small place, not many tables and you have to book I think to be sure to get in. Waiting staff extremely busy and a small kitchen area open to see the chefs. Good atmosphere, really enjoyed it
