We came in for some drinks after a long while of not being in, This place seems a little more friendly

Did a great job setting up an area to give us a fantastic Birthday Party, Food was warm and well Cooked and the Staff friendly .

Good for the price staff were really good steak and scampi cooked to perfection with a lush peppercorn sauce . Only through teen preference one would have preferred fries . Other than that a great hour hour out food was on table in fair time thank you so much x

First time back at the Cricketers for a while we chose to come here for a family celebration lunch on Sunday as we did previously. Lovely welcome from the staff Food came out quick and was hot and well presented. Attentive staff and just love the decor. Nice relaxed meal. Thank you to all at The Cricketers

Went to the Cricketers for a catch up with some friends recently and I have to say Wow what a terrific little pub, Great choice of beers fantastic menu and superb staff, The team at the Cricketers couldn't have done more, We only intended to have a couple of drinks but ended up staying for a meal as well . We had a lovely Afternoon with friends from Denmark the weather outside was awful but the welcome inside was warm and friendly , the food was lovely (and so reasonably priced), the staff could not do enough for us and we felt so well looked after! Our friends commented how lucky we are to have such a great "local "and I can only agree. Thank you for making our afternoon so relaxed and enjoyable.

I would just like to write this because we sadly lost a beautiful lady that was so important to many people . Her wake was held at this venue and the staff was extremely warm and friendly they could not do enough for us the buffet was amazing but most importantly Skye and Dan and all the staff made the day so special for everyone and could not do enough to ensure everything was perfect . So a massive thank you to everyone.

My partner and I were visiting the area for the weekend and decided to search for a pub nearby our hotel that was showing football. We came across this one and ended up spending 8 hours there enjoying lunch and snacks. The staff, especially Dan, were all very friendly and accommodating. Dan, in particular, was exceptional - he was polite, helpful, and constantly on the move serving meals, cleaning tables, and working behind the bar.
