Poor experience ! No breakfast being served Cold shower Unusable WiFi Broken bathroom blind Dirty bathroom Uncomfortable beds Raised all these concerns with reception and was met with a shrug of the shoulders which is frustrating given we had paid £170 for a night. Please avoid !

Aweful experience, cleanliness issues, slow service, poor attention to detail. Stayed with my husband for 2 nights and was only given 1 towel between us. The bed was incredibly hard and I expect sleeping on the floor would have been more comfortable. Wr had a room on the front which was incredibly noisy all night. The historic hotel in the Cotswolds is fantastically quirky. It boasts hidden rooms and corridors, along with a charming bar featuring a log fire. The staff is excellent and the room we stayed in, complete with a 4-poster bed, was great. A complimentary gin and tonic was also provided. The breakfast was fantastic. This privately owned hotel exudes quintessential English charm and we absolutely loved it.

Yesterday evening, my partner and I enjoyed dinner at the Crown and Cushion. The bar had a cozy and inviting atmosphere with an open fire. The cod and chips main course was fantastic, with a proper fish fillet and a delicious thin batter. The rest of the meal was also very tasty, hot, and generously portioned, making it excellent value for money compared to other nearby restaurants. I highly recommend giving it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Overnight stay. Family room very dusty on top of 4poster bed. Understaffed. Took 15 minutes for someone to attend the desk when we booked in. Seemed more interested in drinking with bar customers. Would not stay again. Could not check out as no access to main building in morning at 7am! Left keys outside in courtyard , which was a lovely evening sun trap. Only good point. Swimming pool shut. Restaurant seemed to be shut too, although there was a bar menu. But saw no one eating. Would be nice to provide shampoo in en suite. Visualizza piatti

I had some work being done at home, so I booked in for one night and was so happy with everything that I ended up staying for three! The lady at reception gave us a very warm welcome and was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The bar staff were delightful and provided service with big smiles. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was nice and warm. The food was fantastic and the portions were large. The breakfast was just perfect. There was an open log fire in the bar, creating a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We had a downstairs room with a shower.

Lots of nice touches in the room, G&T cans, chocolates, biscuits, tea and coffee, complimentary toiletries, extra heater and hot water bottle. However the room was very dated, furniture was broken, carpets stained and only one towel between two. The restaurant was closed so we ate in the bar. Very poor. Ordered the same as another table and was told they had special extras because they were locals. The bar ran out of white wine, the toilets ran out of paper and I was told there wasn't any in the whole hotel. The manager and bar man were obviously trying hard but the girl serving was rude, unhelpful and needs some training in hospitality.

The service at this very traditional, partially modernised, coaching inn was excellent. My first, completely refurbished, room was tiny and on the front of the hotel. Given the amazing weather this proved to be very noisy and very hot. My booking had requested a quiet room and it was agreed I would be moved for my subsequent nights. I then went into the old coach house which was very quiet but far less modern and in need of updating. Proximity to M&S Food proved very useful given lack of food though this suddenly came on offer but being all brown I declined.
