"We knew Alison and Easton , the proprietors of the Floating Bridge, as they originally come from our home town of Gloucester. We have frequented most of their establishments in our area over the years, so when we heard that they also have one in Dartmouth soon to be two) , we knew that we could get a very good lunch. We were not disappointed with our fish and chips which was obviously fresh , and beautifully cooked. You can choose from three sizes, and we all opted for the medium, but to be honest, having a small appetite, I would probably choose the small portion next time. The inn is situated in a good location for watching the boats on the River Dart, especially as there is a roof terrace, and seating area across the road, beside the river.We will definitely return soon."

This is a great pub. It’s clean, the wines and beers were very well cared for and the food was top notch.

what a great place to watch the time that eat is really good enough choice for eating and drinking, the dach terrace is perfect to observe the activities on the river.

beautiful place for easy sitting and a glass somewhat refreshing and the nicely cooked kitchen along with the workers who really kindly go a brilliant place in dartmouth

We holidayed in Dartmouth, we have just arrived back home now. We had two lovely meals at the floating bridge. I had a delicious fish pie and last night had an amazing fish and chips. Highly recommend a visit.

A lovely setting with plenty going on on the river to amuse! The food is absolutely beautiful, the fillet steak was so soft and perfectly cooked, the starters were really good but the scampi was pre packed and a little disappointing, tho that's due to my husband not realising there was a full fish menu on the wall. That aside, the service was really friendly and attentive, the beers were good and we're back again this evening.
