Ben, who greeted us at the front of the house, was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome, as did the rest of the staff. They made our stay effortless and delightful. I took my mum and daughter here today. As always great food and staff, roast lunch is the nicest in town. Will always come back here

Food was appalling tasteless dry. Who ever made the Bakewell tart ought to go back to cooking school! I was sick when I got home! Just awful definitely would not recommend.

Visited for an evening meal, we have stayed and ate here previously. Food was really lovely, again, we had starters and mains. Service was really good and the staff were very helpful when I mentioned an allergy I have.

I would give this charming pub 10 stars if I could! I had dinner there tonight and was impressed by the beautiful setting and the top-notch food, service, hospitality, and atmosphere. Every staff member was a true professional. In a time when it feels like few people in the hospitality industry truly care, this place stands out as a beacon of excellence.
