I visited this restaurant for the first time a few weeks ago for a special meal and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent, although there was a slight delay in receiving our food. I ordered the Moving Mountains burger and thought it was delicious, but I would opt for the cauliflower steak next time. Every dish was cooked to perfection.

On our wedding anniversary, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I would suggest making a reservation in advance. The manager kindly seated us and the food was excellent. I thought adding a slice of vegan smoked gouda to the moving mountains burger would have made it perfect. I also liked that the fries were served in a metal bucket, which kept them hot for longer. Dinner with partner and friends on a Friday evening. Quite busy but not packed, nicely decorated inside. Drinks ordered quickly taken (decent Stowford Press cider on draft . Interesting menu, we skipped starters and went straight to mains all were very good, only minor issue being my trout was a smaller dish than the others and the sauteed potatoes hadn't been cooked quite enough so were more like sliced new potatoes. Had 3 deserts all of which were very good (and large! All staff were helpful and friendly overall a very enjoyable evening.

My second time ordering the Cauliflower steak and super food salad at the goat, and it was simply a taste sensation both times. It has blueberries, pomegranate, cashew nuts in the salad beneath the beautifully cooked cauliflower. The portion size is large, the presentation is superb and it feels so healthy. I absolutely adore this dish. I like that the goat clearly label their food vegan or sat how they will make a dish vegan. The staff clearly understand what veganism means and have gone out of their way to offer tasty vegan options.
