"We arrived for our booking to be told that there was no booking made under our details at all. They did fortunately have a cancellation that they gave us, otherwise we would have been left with no where to eat on new years eve! The waitress plonked our bottle of wine down on the table, didn't even open it, let alone pour it. The food was outstanding apart from the mashed potato which was definitely powdered."

I visited this restaurant during a charity fair in the summer. The atmosphere was lovely, and my family and I enjoyed a meal there. I can only say it was very nice.

eating was not very hot and the size of the meat (roastbeef) was only very small 2 very tiny slitters of the bark. we have eaten here several times and enjoyed it, but today it was disappointed. the sweet was good and varied and the yorkshire puddings beautiful. unfortunately we try elsewhere for a Sunday roast?

The food wasn’t very hot and the size of the meat portion (roast beef) was very small only 2 very tiny slithers of beef. We have eaten here several times previously and always enjoyed it but was disappointed today. The vegetables were good and varied and the Yorkshire puddings lovely. Unfortunately we will be trying somewhere else for a Sunday roast????
