"On booking a few days in Greenwich we looked for a good independent restaurant. We had a fabulous lunch at The Hill, it was a sunny day and we ate in their beautiful garden. Staff were very attentive and so friendly. The menu had a good range of interesting fish and vegetarian dishes, the sea bass was especially good. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dinner the next day which was equally delicious: this enabled us to try different dishes, especially recommend the prawn starter and calamari tapas. Thank you for your high quality food and great service!"

Really great food and service with a lovely garden to eat outside in. The South Americans who run it are really friendly and welcoming.

Nice terrace, good sangria, lots of interesting Mediterranean and South American dishes on the menu. Was good value too. Great local spot.

What a find, excellent service, fantastic food and good value. Would happily recommend to anyone. Worth the walk up from the main tourist areas of Greenwich.

The restaurant was okay, but it didn't impress me. I have to be honest. The ambiance was nice when we were seated, but the tables seemed too small for the chairs. There was a man playing carols on the guitar, which was lovely.

This place was ideal for a romantic birthday dinner, small and intimate. The servers had great service and were attentive and helpful with wine selection. The food was tasty and unexpectedly flavorful! We had the prawn ceviche to share, Beef stroganoff (amazing! , Lamb curry and Tiramisu all delicious

My husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at The Hill last night and it was absolutely perfect. The food and drinks were delicious, and everything else was fantastic. I highly recommend The Hill for couples, families, friends, and groups. We have been regulars for many years and every visit has always been wonderful.

I found this restaurant to be a hidden gem in the city. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the lamb chops and they were cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. I will definitely be coming back to try more dishes on the menu. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

This is really a very fine place: quiet, understated, spacious, warm… really good professional service, kind, gentle, not fawning, knowledgeable without being too authoritative, generous… and the food… very beautifully modulated, sensible portion sizes… there really is nothing that one can fault the place on… except perhaps the complimentary digestifs… which can be a little more potent than one might really wish… Try it! … but a good idea to book…
